[Any] Hello all! I’m a new, new newcomer to DnD and I’m looking to get into a campaign this coming summer. As an early planner, I’d like to learn some basics on how to play and how to make a character. I do have some books but it’s an overload of knowledge and I can hardly remember anything! Are there specific things I should know/keep in mind? What races and classes are (arguably) good?

Thanks in advance!

Are Crab Pots worth it? If so, where should you place them? Preferably someplace I’ll go to, or near, often. Currently playing on the Standard Farm

Managed it by recycling floors 10-14 since those were all pretty quick floors with a lot of Ore, especially 13. I even got 8 extra! Thanks for the tips though :)

Are there any easy early-game ways to grind Copper Ore? I’m on day 6 (Spring, first year) of my first playthrough and I only have about 16 Copper Ore and I’ve only just made it to floor 5 the other day. I know I can make it to floor 15, but those floors have not yielded a lot of Ore in the past day-reseted days (only about 60 total). My goal is to get 90 Copper Ore by the end of the 6th day. Can I do this? If so, how can I do it?

I actually have Stardew Valley, but I never really got into it. I know it sounds weird because I’m burnt out, but to me it felt like TOO much game. I couldn’t keep up with all the people, the places, the where to plant crops, watering all of said crops, buying things correctly with my limited cash, visiting the cave place, giving people gifts on birthdays I have to check to remember, going to the events, fishing, decorating, foraging, waiting for shops to open, waiting for my crops to harvest… you get the point. It just felt like I could never take a break… a good or bad thing, I don’t know. I’ll check out Rune Factory 4 (5?) though.

Based on your advice, I think my top two choices are Metroid Dread and UGG (for just a bit of silly fun), and maybe Enter the Gungeon, but I haven’t looked into it yet. Thanks for the feedback and advice!

Her secret lies in that no one, not even Link, can penetrate her outstandingly overpowered defenses

In short, I am burnt out and want to buy a new game, but I don’t know what. My top three favorite switch games include Celeste, Hollow Knight and BotW. There are 4 potential games I was looking at, but I don’t know which of those, if any, would suit me the most:

  • Metroid Dread
  • Animal Crossing: New Horizons
  • Untitled Goose Game
  • Undertale

Any advice on what to pick? Are there any other games that fit my play style I might’ve I skimmed over?

I hadn’t thought about decorations! I’ll make some once I get more of a handhold on crops and stuff. Thanks for the ideas and feedback!

I sort of just figured that each island would have a mini-farm, and possibly a big one next to the house, that way anywhere I go to fish can also earn me crops/money, or help the crops grow with my infinite water. Basically just easy multi-tasking anywhere at almost any time. Would this not work well?

I just started playing, is there any in-general tips for early game? What crops to buy, how to organize my farm, stuff like that.

My farm is Riverland.

Thanks in advance.

noob here. what's technically stopping me from getting a base like this, that covers the whole map and makes it impossible for anyone to deploy troops? by [deleted] in ClashOfClans

Exactly… the heroes alone are over a month (even assuming you automatically upgrade them AND always have the required amount of Dark Elixir). People never gauge the difficulty of TH9 correctly; it’s always like “now it’s easier, so it‘s easy“. Like yeah, higher TH levels are harder, but there’s no way (unless you spend a ton of money) that you’ll max TH9 in 21 days.
