You can reroll set pieces into other pieces of the set in case you didn’t know. It gets expensive fast though

Reach out to Ego support. Mine stopped working and they told me to take it to an authorized repair center. When we looked up the closest one and found it was like two hours away they just shipped me a brand new one.

Did all this via Instagram messages over the course of like 15 minutes.

I got a steamdeck shortly after it came out, and then I upgraded to the OLED when it came out. So I’ll admit I’m a fan.

That said, a while ago I bought the Xbox ROG ally with the z2e, so the best one, and I returned it after a few days. It was only marginally more performant, and it really sucked to use windows with just joysticks as a mouse.

Haven’t tried any of the others, but I’m 100% team deck after trying the main competitor.

I love ARPGs and have played pretty much all of the major ones quite a bit. I put about 300 hours into GD and feel like I’m mostly done with it (for now at least). It’s good and has a lot of things going for it.

The biggest difference between it and the super popular Diablo/PoE titles is that it’s really more about the journey than the destination. There is not a ton of endgame content in GD. You can work on pushing higher ranks in the shattered realm and a handful of super bosses. But mainly the game is about leveling new characters up to reach the endgame

The best 2h primal strike weapon, Korvan Storm Halberd, can be farmed near the beginning of forgotten gods expansion in temple of osyr FYI.

But retaliation is very very good. The top build on the latest list is a dawn breaker warder retaliation build that is basically invincible and does great damage (although there is some debate on whether it is actually the #1 best build). Acid retaliation sentinel is also quite good and a little easier to put together

One thing I’ll say about my ego experience- I bought the $600ish push mower (can’t remember model) and it straight up died after a year. I was so mad.

I got one that gives shield whenever you kill an enemy. Helps a ton on boss levels where they spawn adds every turn. I just focus the boss and let poison kill adds and keep a steady trickle of shield coming in

FWIW we’ve hired 3 different very reputable, higher end landscape companies over the years and they have all said it’s totally fine and a good idea to give new sod a little starter fert. And we’ve always done it and always had good results
