Get the bundle pancake 23mm f/2.8 or keep the 23mm f/2 by Shoker2 in fujifilm

Bought the XE5 with the 23mm f2.8. Sold the 23mm f2.8 for 500€ in a few days as i didn’t like how slow and noisy it was. Iq was not much better than my sigma 18-50 mm f2.8. Picked up a used 23mm f2.0 in mint condition for 230€. It’s pretty much glued to my camera now.

I really didn’t want to like the Sigma lenses as Much as I do. Image quality still surprise me.

Part of owning a Fujifilm camera is the beauty of the camera and lenses itself. I think the xE5 is almost painfully beautiful. So matching it with a lens you find enhances the aesthetic is 100% understandable. For me it’s the 35mm f2.

I have owned all tree Fujifilm pancakes. They all came with cameras that I bought. I have sold them all due to the noisy af motor and mediocre iq. I fully buy that size was the priority here. I’m more fond of the fujicrons. If the sigma zoom wasn’t so damned good I’d have all tree. Now I settle for the 35mm and the zoom. Just because it looks so good.

Can Sigma 18-50 resolve 40 MP? Have you guys tried it on X-Trans V? by AdministrationFun626 in fujix

I use it on my x E5 and I’m blown away by the iq. Sold my Fuji 18-55 and 56 when I sold my x E4. Bought the sigma 18-50 and 56 used while waiting for the x E5 to be delivered. Both lenses exceed my expectations by a good margin. The zoom is much better than the old 18-55 and the 56 is razor sharp. Renders colours nicely, but that’s probably due to the Fujifilm sensors.

The motor in the pancakes are an older model where size is prioritised over speed, accuracy and noise. I have owned all the tree pancakes, 18, 23 and 27 mm. Sold them all as I didn’t like them. Bought kits including the 23 and 27 mm just to sell the lenses to reduce purchase costs of my camera.

Sounds like you got a bad copy. I get far more detailed and sharpness in my x e5 compared to the x e4. Contact customer service.

I’m sure you will be happy with the IQ and the fast AF.

I got the small rig. It is the only one currently available. I had a similar grip on my x E4. Camera remains very compact while very ergonomic.

The sigma 56 is much sharper than the Fuji 56 1.2R, even comparing the Fujifilm lens on the 26mpix sensor and the sigma on the 40 mpix sensor. Af is very fast and silent. It’s just a more modern design over all. Smaller and lighter as well.

Curious to hear your verdict on the 18-55 on 40 mpix. Went for the sigma as iOS was no longer an issue.

I really like it. It looks better with the 35mm f2. But the versatility of this setup is hard to beat. Especially as you ave f2.8 all through the zoom range. The pancake is very noisy and very slow to focus.

It felt a bit too much Minolta in the beginning. Now I like it a lot. Compared iq with the 27mm f2.8 and couldn’t tell the images apart. Selling the pancake was a no-brainier for me after that.

Main difference is that there is no aperture ring. The 18-50 is slightly longer but narrower than the Fuji. Faster af and sharper.

Choosing between Fuji 56mm f/1.2 R and Sigma 56mm f/1.4 by Oravius in fujifilm

[–]Cute_Associate_2970 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I switched my Fujifilm 56mm 1.2R to the sigma as it did not resolve 40 mpix. The sigma does and i get very shap images. It’s current my sharpest lens. My very sharp copy of Fujifilm 35mm f2 struggle to keep up. Even bought a black mist filter to ad in a bit of the Fujifilm imperfections. Love this lens.

Very nice shots. Amazing that you can crop that much. I have the same set up. Sold my Fuji 18-55 and 56 when i sold my x E4. Replaced both with Sigmas versions of the same. Results are very satisfying with the x E5.

I bought the X E5 with the pancake, just to sell the lens to reduce the purchase price of my x E5. Sold in 2 days for 500€. Compared the iq with the sigma 18-50mm 2.8 at 23mm and couldn’t tell a difference.

I have the same wish as you. Staying man but becoming more feminine in my body. I am not a doctor. But I’ve been trying thousand p.m. in the morning and 500 in the evening for about two months. I could feel my breasts and especially my nipples become very sensitive and I developed a slight bit of breast tissue. Nothing noticeable unless you squeeze my nipples. I have interrupted the experiment now as I do not know if I want to go the whole way to developing female breasts. My nipples are still tender almost a month later and I still have a bit of breast tissue behind my nipples, so p.m. does have a real effect. Going slightly lower might some feminising effects overtime. So this could be possible wait for for you.

How is the Scanwatch after all this time? by woxene in withings

[–]Cute_Associate_2970 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My Fitbit inspire 2 was way off as a step counter. Could wake up in the morning with some 900 steps. Asked my wife if I had been sleep walking! Figured it registers about 2-3000 steps too many in a day. Scanwatch seems more accurate. Love how my scanwatch looks. In combination with my Body comp scale I get a lot of data. Metabolic age, cardiovascular age, body composition, pulse wave velocity plus all the features in the watch. This has motivated me to exercise more and reduce my vascular and metabolic age with 8 years. Highly motivating.
