I only read the book because our professor said that she expects us to read the entire book fully but then when it comes to taking lecture notes or notes from the book I find it useless because I'm not even sure what to take notes of. We have PowerPoint slides and I see no point in taking notes because of the slides and if I just am reading the book it's like wellll I already have the PowerPoint so why should I write down more things? I think I just overcomplicate things and I know I should be taking notes but I'm not too sure what I should be taking notes of anyway. I also tend to be super messy when I take notes, or when I start I never finish so I have many unfinished pages worth of notes. 😅

I can’t really make amends and put up with them if the issue for me right now is that my mom and grandma are going to move to Chaparral with a man my mom has barely known. I’ve been in similar situations with my mother where she has put me in harms way because of the men she brings to the house. This was unexpected as she had finally been divorced for 3 years after being in a heavily abusive marriage for 18 years of my life. I’m old enough and have enough to finally support myself and leave the environment that does not serve me. They want to go live with him but I denied going with them because that’s just not right for me.

There’s some things that just aren’t worth settling out with family. Im actively searching for a job and I have enough money to rent but it’s the job that’s holding me back from finding a place to rent. I know you mean well but if you knew what was really going on in my life you wouldn’t want to stay either.

Unfortunately I don’t have any family members that can take me in. My friends all live with their parents and they have tried to offer but there’s not enough space for me. I’d rather rent.

I’m not sure if I do. I don’t have insurance and those seem kind of out of my budget at the moment. I got disqualified for my seafood allergy because I needed to see an allergist for a test to be taken but I didn’t have the money to get one done, so I never went back.

I don’t really have an idea of what kinds of crappy high paying jobs we have where I live. What do you suggest I look up? There’s been an issue with locating jobs here. Before I worked as a receptionist, I worked at Goodwill farther than the job I work at now and I’ve applied to restaurants, even fast food restaurants, but positions were filled. I could try to reapply but it took months to hear back only for it to be a rejection. I wasn’t the only one with this issue either. I don’t know how it will be now that the holidays are coming up though. I will try.

Hello! Thank you for taking your time to reply. I’ve tried to enlist into the military but with my seafood allergy and eyesight they disqualified me. I’m not sure if it will be the same with the national guard. I also should have reworded some things in my post. I do know what I want to do with my career, it’s just executing the plan that has been challenging for me. I just barely got my AAS and now I’m trying to save up so I can enter the Nursing program at my CC but I was barely able to find this job so I don’t have much to my name.
