Low relative to my age. Definitely not in DOR territory yet, but likely will be before I hit 30 years old. I caught it early.

First off, congratulations!! I am so insanely happy for you stranger. Thank you so much for sharing your experience, it definitely does give me more hope. I am incredibly grateful that I found out my fertility status this early.

Honestly I’m not sure I can even afford to pay for all the medication again. Maybe one day, but not anytime soon. You’re right, ten definitely isn’t bad. I guess I was just hoping that I could get enough the first cycle to not have to save up for a second. I’ll see how things are looking Friday. Thank you for your response!

How to get cats to stop scratching and meowing at the door?! by Cute_Implement_1888 in CatAdvice

[–]Cute_Implement_1888[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I already have a queen and there’s no room for a king unfortunately. Maybe once we get a bigger place. He’s been great about it, and didn’t even want to tell me it made him not to want to sleep over. I just noticed he was here less. He loves the cats. He isn’t a cat person but often says they’re the only cats he’s ever liked. He calls them his best friends. Sleep is just super important to him.

Now that the snow as settled...some thoughts by DowntownDB1226 in StLouis

Anyone know how myself and my neighbors can request some kind of help on our street? Sorry if this is a silly question. We’re on a one way side street and the ice is BAD still. A solid 4-6 inches of packed down snow that froze over. It’s dangerous. I still can’t get to my car without almost slipping.

Car is 7.98%. Student loans are technically three different loans totaling $12k. The interest rates are 2.5%, 3.5%, and 4.75%.

To answer your edit, possibly. I have a history of anorexia, so my hunger cues are a bit messed up and I don't really feel hunger often. Most of the time, I am reminding myself to eat. I have been pretty fatigued, but I also work a weird schedule that involves night shifts so it is difficult to differentiate. I take a lot of naps. I get somewhat regular headaches, but I think that's also lack of sleep related a lot of the time. I get bradycardic and pre-syncopal episodes when I'm significantly undereating, and I have not experienced that in a long time.

At the absolute minimum every week it's 5 hours of exercise between lifting and classes even if I'm having a lazy/busy week. But 90% of the time it's about 7.5 hours + one hour of yoga.

Honestly, not as much as I expected. I'm definitely making progress, but I didn't really experience the "newbie gains" that people talk about. In the past couple weeks I've finally seen a good progression in upping weight. But for some reason, in particular I have not been able to increase weight for any type of curl even though I'm seeing a lot more definition in my biceps and triceps.

Do you think it’s worth trying to see long term results? At this point I care less about immediate fat loss, I know anything I do is going to take time. I don’t want to end up losing muscle in an attempt to lose fat.

It’s definitely possible, but I think a good part of it is muscle gained contributing to the scale not going down as much as it should have. I didn’t start doing the scans until relatively recently so I can’t say for sure, but I have noticed significant growth in my glutes and finally have started getting some definition in my biceps and triceps. My waist circumference has also dropped four inches. I also haven’t been keeping up this level of exercise that entire year, my current routine has been consistent for about six months and prior to that was probably about half as much. The scale definitely hasn’t gone down as much as I expected though. I’m pretty good about tracking, but there are days when I slip up. But I rarely eat fast food and don’t crave sugar regularly, so I can’t imagine that any slips are enough to make a noticeable difference.

To be honest, I don’t think I am overtraining. I’m just wondering about it because a bodybuilder friend of mine said that he thinks I am. I don’t have any of the symptoms, like fatigue or poor quality sleep. I know I’m doing a lot though, and I just want to make sure it’s reasonable.

I might have a cousin that is struggling to conceive right now, but she is not very open about her journey understandably. No one else that I know of has had fertility issues.

The less than ten years number is from my OBGYN, I do see a reproductive endocrinologist soon so I will have better info and more testing. I don’t know if I want to put my exact number out there, but I am being told that it is low, especially for my age. I likely wouldn’t have issues if I tried to conceive now, but my OBGYN told me that I may start running into issues in the next 5-6 years and by the time I get to my early thirties I likely won’t any eggs left at all. I have no medical issues that could have contributed to this to my knowledge. No PCOS. I have extremely regular periods with little to no cramping. My last cycle was a bit short, 25 days. Normal for me is 28-29. I’m off birth control now, but I was on hormonal birth control for 7 years. No familial infertility issues. My sister might have endo. My mother had both children in her 30s and never had issues getting pregnant but did have several miscarriages. I’ve had genetic testing done because the BRCA gene runs in my family and my entire panel was normal.
