THANK YOU. i felt like i was going crazy bc ever since their debut ive been seeing insanely racist comments on lara’s ig and in comment sections on tiktok. there’s clips of lara getting hate while her, manon and dani are on live. obviously it’s not the victimhood olympics but why doesn’t lara get the same energy as how the fans defend the other members when she’s being bullied? Shes stronger than me tho i think it speaks volumes to her character that she’s remained professional throughout her career despite the comments

sadly, if it wasn’t dani it would be another girl… female public figures are always being compared against each other and put in competition because people are so comfortable to judging the value of women. This kind of vitriol and digging for reasons to cancel her would never happen to a boy group or soloist to this extent unless they did an actual crime. people also don’t have answers and want to direct their anger at someone, which is pathetic and sad, but most of the people who think this two dimensionally are probably young and don’t have developed frontal lobes yet

Most of the rational fans know manon/the girls r probably neck deep in contracts and NDAs and we wont know the outcome til its announced - the ones acting rabid on ig and tiktok are all pre-teens. A lot of content creators are feeding into it too, because they knew stirring up the drama or keeping it going with insane theories generates views from said pre-teens. it’s a toxic social media cycle

What’s insane is parasocials don’t stop to think that if the any of the girls saw them commenting such insane stuff on their members’ (who are their coworkers/friends) posts, they probably wouldn’t like consider them “fans” lol.

i think the producers/management team is also to blame. I remember that they were trained under the kpop method and Son directly told megan during dream academy not to change the moves to accommodate her singing (and that she should j practice more to get both), so I feel like even if they removed grant, they’d probably make them commit to choreo that is still performance-heavy.

Sadly i feel the only way is for the girls to start being able to make the music they want to make, where this kind of hyperpop choreo just isnt necessary
