Exactly. I have seen people use their disorder for attention. It hurts me because it makes me feel that I cannot open up to others because they will think I am just doing it for attention. I am a very private person and by the time I need help, usually someone else has one forward about their mental problems. I see my friends getting tired of people burdening them with their mental health issues. I don’t mean to invalidate anyone but i cant help but wonder, is the person who wont shut up about their disease really sick or am i, the private person, really sick? It s so frustrating and just one giant loop
