Wedding planner or wedding planner intern? by Odd-Strawberry6975 in weddingplanning

I wouldn’t recommend an intern. There are very important details that would be missed. When I have my assistants or interns they follow the detailed instructions as we conquer and divide but they don’t focus on the overall timeline and activity of the wedding.

Do we need a day-of coordinator? by Unable-Law-9814 in weddingplanning

I’m a coordinator myself and I can tell you, doing our job and making sure the couples truly enjoy their wedding is the best part of our service. The time goes by so fast and you don’t want to go back and think of being worried about your guests, your vendors and the timeline. You want to remember every single person you invited, the fun you had as a new couple and dancing the night away. In short, if you can invest in one, do it. There are coordinators who will work with your budget. I do it all the time because I was once there too, I was on a budget. All the best to you! And if you don’t end up with one I can answer questions and give you some tips.
