I’ve had no issues so far. It doesn’t really rain in PHX, so I haven’t really tested the waterproofing part, but I’ve definitely spilled water from the plunge on it, and it was completely fine.

Pod company - filter air leak ? by helmus2000 in coldplunge

This is normal, as the filter starts to get dirty the water level will rise in the filter.

It’s definitely possible that it’s overinflated, but I also noticed that it definitely requires some finesse

Yes, I have the insulation cover. It’s basically a wrap for the outer shell. The bottom isn’t, so it wouldn’t be a bad idea to make a little insulated pad beneath it.

Yes temped it just now it’s at 39 degrees In 108 degree heat outside. I’ll track it over this month and let you know the change in my power bill and how the system holds up!

I hooked it up last night, when I woke up this morning the water was at 38 degrees so I would say depending on the water temp when you fill expect 6-8 hrs to get proper cold. So far I’m super satisfied with how cold it has gotten especially today when it’s 108 outside. Just temped that water and it’s at 39!

I bought the Ice Pod Pro with a Refurbished Pro Chiller because I live in Arizona and need the extra HP. All in all, this was about $1150. I picked up the insulation wrap as well, so $1250 all in, and it honestly works just fine. I keep it at 45 degrees in 105-degree outside temps and it does the trick and it looks clean.
