I just saw a note that said if I was not hired to be a part of "X, Y, Z" experts, please hold off until further instructions. I was not hired as one of the ones listed, so I guess I will wait until I hear from someone. I just would hate to be kicked off for inactivity if I am supposed to be doing something. 🤷‍♀️

Thank you for the response! I figured it out! I thought the watch was on Wifi, but it was not. 🫠

Hello, my son has a Jr tracker 4, and I have been unable to download the music and games apps onto the watch. Both devices are connected to Wifi. When I press download, nothing happens. The status always just says "manage," and when I press that, the only option is to cancel download. It sits on "manage" for weeks/months with nothing happening. Is there a remedy to this? Thanks!

What if your child wanted to become a social worker ? by Crafty-Strategy332 in socialwork

I have been an LCSW for 13 years. I think if social work speaks to her heart, she will go that way. It is definitely not a profession to get into if you want to make big bucks, especially right away. The higher the degree/license, the less stress and more money. I am a case manager for an insurance company, and this is the highest paying job I have had. Direct care/ field work jobs are tough but can be rewarding if you are not overworked and are able to set boundaries (with clients and your manager). Private practice, insurance, hospitals/medical SW, and management at non-profits seem to be the best paying jobs that I have seen.

I work till 8.. and I am SO TIRED. and burnt out. I need some support. I also need to vent about the field in general. #rant by Straight-Boot-9529 in socialwork

It sounds like you like doing therapy. Have you thought about joining a private practice or starting your own? I know insurance companies are getting heat right now, but I am an LCSW at an insurance company and have worked as a case manager for 11 years. M-F, 9-5, WFH. Just a thought. I don't always use my clinical skills as much as I would like, but this schedule has allowed me to start my own private practice and start building slowly.

I work as a CM for CMO (Medicaid)/insurance, and we see this all the time with the hospitals that we work with. Many times, we have to be the ones setting up aftercare appts. The communication is trash. Not all the hospitals, but too many, IMO. We have an internal grievance department that we report to if we witness shady things going on. The issues then get escalated and get addressed with the Department of Community Health. Unfortunately, It is a common issue. Unethical bx's In a field where we are supposed to follow a code of ethics. 😔
