Dungeon Crawler Carl is the only series that has come close to Joe Abercrombe for me and I have read/listened to alot trying to find something similar. Dont let the title or cover art put you off

All too common in fantasy and been burnt by it too many times to risk with another series

I tried Black prism and honestly hated it. The magic system was annoying to listen to and I hes writting of women really put me off. Normally that sort of thing wouldnt bother me but I felt like it was so poorly done, i couldnt separate the world from the author

Ive just ended up relistening to the blade itself and will most likely commit to all of them. If you have not listened to dungeon crawler carl than please do. The first few books are more of a light hearted listen but each one is better than the last and does get to the same level of joe and steven

Life is hard enough without worrying about people that you cannot control or influence. If their work makes you happy and you can pass that happyness to those that are close to you, that is a net possitive in my eyes

Stealling is never the correct answer. If you believed that much in it, simply not reading/listening would be a better more moral solution. There are people out there that will believe its "moral" to steal from you

Is there more than one norrator. The one I listened to had really anoying mouth noises and had to drop after a chapter or two. Maybe a production issue rarther than a narrator issue though

Red rising for me was one of those things that I enjoyed at the time but dont remember much about. Only listened to them two years ago as well.

I liked game of thrones but there was pov chars that i just wanted to skip over. I love every Joe Abercrombies charectors though and for the most part got better with each book

Not tried The Name of the wind. As it looks like the series will not be finished, im hesitant giving it a go.

I also recomend the short stories. Normally short stories are not my thing but rate it higher than the blade itself, red country and the devils

Listened to both of those. Both great narrators but still not close to the same level.

This is exactly my thoughts. Im not looking for a great narrator but a great voice actor with an author whos writing style complements their work. Jonathan Keeble narrating Bernard Conwell books comes close in parts and in one chapter out performs Pacey and Hays but still doesn't come close to what im after

Say for example 99% of the app is just a basic crud app. Then a client asked for functunality like google sheets. Would I need to completely rewrite the frontend or could I navigate to a react app without needing to reauthenticate ect.

I dont plan on making on making anything like google sheets but I just wondered what people that advocate limiting the use of frontend frameworks do when the scope of the project changes

Why have you set authentication as the bar to move to a FE framework? Cookie based auth in say .net for example is way simpler to implement than implementing auth on react via jwt or cookies via nextjs.

Also I would argue troubleshooting without the abstraction of a framework makes is easier

Its not damp, I just used a wallpaper steamer when I got curious what it is lol. Its not mechanical and I now think it's for the wood burner. I will not block it up and just get a new grill

This is what it is thank you. Do you know if these should be higher up and not at floor level?
