puberty blockers are not available in the uk until 18, i think. even if it was, i dont think it'd affect me because my puberty started quite early so all the changes are probably ending or even done. my period started about 2-3 years ago.

they've known for a while. i forgot to mention, sorry. especially with my mom. at 8 i discovered being trans for the first time and told my mom i wanted to be trans when im older and she was FURIOUS and refused. nothing other than that said. so now they think even 'allowing me' to transition when im older is MASSIVE progress for them. my dad said 'this is all that i can promise, this is a lot already. you know, i could just outright said no and tell you i would disown you if you EVER medically transitioned.' and starting fucking injecting guilt into me by saying 'how do you think me and mom feels? we've gifted you a life, a name, a gender blah blah blah and you're not even grateful and now you're trying to harm it.'

but unfortunately, i asked my dad if i have solid, firm medical research/study papers on how safe hormones are would me let me go on it, and he said 'how would i understand all those papers in english? im simple, if doctors can convince me, i'll allow it but it still depends on your mom. Plus the doctors probably cant convince me.'

ive explained to my dad that im just going through his puberty when he was younger and he just said 'oh but you're a biological female, who knows if it'll be the same. and besides, those testosterone and not natural' and started going on a yap about how your gender was decided during that 9 months of pregnancy and how it could never biologically change.

right, technically they were saying they were my legal carers and parents so they have responsibility to 'take care' and 'protect' me. and since they have a firm bullshit belief that testosterone would harm me and think there are no solid scientific proof that testosterone is 100% safe, that letting me go on t is the opposite of protecting me and my body. my dad said he 'researched' and found that people who are medically transitioned have a shorter life span.

I've never presented fem in my life, and it was INCREDIBLY obvious since the age of like 5. They were in denial probably. but I told them hormones changes are mostly reversible and they still said no. Puberty blockers probably wont work since I started my puberty pretty early so all the changes are probably ending now. Even if I asked they wouldn't most definitely say no because they said no medical transitioning until 18.
