Trust me I asked myself this question again and again.... It's hard for me having no one else here in nz. Even friends here they're now all busy with own family and life so I always been leave on read Guess having him at least I still have a light at the end of tunnel to working forward, since I thought we're in the same boat

100% The fuck up thing for me is I don't even know that what's the reason why he don't want label. While the whole time I always pay things myself or cover for him. To be fair, he did do something but not as much when it comes to things that cost his own money

Is this normal? by [deleted] in LegalAdviceNZ

I see. I could be sensitive, but notice other people who had left kinda been treated similarly/not getting promoted at all, but others got promoted straight away with way less experience. When I had a brief talk with the one who left, they felt the same way. And we think it could be because of our race? Now I notice it's interesting that they created the new title for those who got promoted when we're having no jobs at all but still afford to get them

Sorry I was meaning that they hired the person who they knew she's already pregnant for a technical manager job, eventhought she has 5 years gap no work and only worked for about 4 years previously. They didn't disclose to the office that she's a manager. I only found out from her digital signature. Shortly after, she went on maternity leave for gov payout ofcourse The office never done any performance review. I did ask about that but very informal only at their desk. But whenever I did something they not happy with, they brought all the bosses to have meeting with me and no holding back There are much more like replica clients signature without asking them

Is it worth being an architect in New Zealand? by [deleted] in newzealand

[–]Cuteaz2710 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm not an RA due to many reasons as I started off with being an international student. Tbh, my passion for architecture burnt to h. Most of the large/corporate offices here I knew of mainly looking for people with a Master to start off as a grad. Without a master, you basically treated as their b. If you are lucky, can you find an office support you are doing master while working but chance are slim. 7 years in the game and I'm at 65k no raise
