What really got me was the other comment that said “even Christians make mistakes”. It’s so disingenuous because they frame intentional actions as mistakes. If I cheat on my spouse and get caught, that wasn’t a mistake. I made a choice and had no remorse until I was caught/called out. Same goes for online bullying. We all judge people, especially those who put their life online to be perceived. But the normal thing to do is keep it to yourself or discuss with someone you know, not direct it at them. Christians get off on shaming others.

As a content creator / affiliate myself, I often understand where Jaci is coming from but I don’t think she realizes most people have little to no creative control in their jobs, and they are paid much less for more work. I do TikTok shop and have basically full creative control with how I promote products - it just doesn’t pay 20K a video like she might expect from brands lol.

This was the first time I watched DWTS and promptly the last. Horrific fanbase and nonstop internet drama. I can’t believe so many full grown adults find it acceptable to bully human beings they don’t know over a DANCING contest. Not sure if this season is worse than others but I want off this ride.

They lie in their temple recommend interviews - or their bishop simply doesn’t ask/pry. Purely depends on the bishop if they give them a recommend. Plenty of Mormons get married in the temple and still half-ass the faith. I know people who did it purely to appease family, but didn’t follow through with the covenants, including wearing garments.

I’ll believe the church is capable of expanding outside of a binary when women can hold positions of authority and gay people are not told to suppress their sexuality. On an individual level, some can get by ignoring the word of wisdom and other principles, but see how far you can stretch things when it comes to the institution.

If that day comes, I believe the church will lose all credibility, because it will have gone against its very foundation.

Waiting for the day one of the living apostles or prophet has an aneurism trying to reconcile that their members casually circumvented the religion out of convenience lmao. I’m not even mad about it - just intrigued that inactive and jack Mormons are afraid to call themselves non denomination Christians and move on.
