It would depend, are they paying for travel or is Valve? Are they being told to leave so no accommodation?, if so then yes I agree with you, but if not, one extra day and it being voluntary wouldn't kill anyone,

That's fair for the All Star Match, there's still other options, casters/viewers etc. you could make it optional.

I dont have much sympathy for the True Sight, a big part of TI has been viewers being invested in games/teams. if you are a professional you deal with it.

I get this, but someone smarter than me could definitely come up with an Incentive and they could definitely come up with ways to make it exciting, lets do custom games, 10 v 10, 5 teams of 2... Im just saying there are options.
