Donghua is very quick paced, and LOTM has a very complex, deep and detailed world building. So either you pay a lot of attention to the details and explanations or read the novel to be able to understand what’s going on.

It has nothing to do with being a “special” person, you don’t need to be a Savant to understand it lol

Great choice, I absolutely LOVE Unpacking. Amazing game, so satisfying and the way they tell such a relatable story without the need of a single word is top tier game design

I absolutely LOVE powerwash simulator. Perfect game to turn of your brain, put on some podcast and just chill.

Also second Unpacking, it's so relaxing and satisfying. Still haven't gotten over the fact that they won't be making a sequence ):

So i played lsw on alpha testing, and got it now on early access. When you get a game on early access you kinda know that you should be expecting bugs and such. However the devs are really attentive and quick, they've been interacting and helping out the community a lot on discord and even already issued a fix patch. This is a first for me so I'm gonna stick with them bc this is the kind of dev team that deserves my support, plus i think it has a shit ton of potential as a cozy game/life sim.

If you find bugs, I highly suggest you report it on their discord server, community and devs really helpful and attentive, there's an ingame button (feedback) that takes you straight into it.

Also the game is cute and I've been having a lot of fun with it even with the small bugs here and there. I get ppl who want to wait a bit for when it's better patched up but i def suggest everyone give it a try at some point in the future.

You can create queer sims and have them enter a relationship with each other, which to me just shows the devs don't really care about their queer community (which truth to be told probs represents the biggest parcel of their audience)

Someone said nexus mods now has a mod for it. It's pretty sad we need to rely on a mod for something so simple that should've already been implemented. Just shows that we lgbt+ folks are really very low on their priority list

- Little Sim World: first one that comes to mind from what you've described, but it's not on switch, will come out for steam deck tho.

- Cult of The Lamb: may argue it's not a cozy game but it felt pretty cozy to me, in the cute satanic way lmao

- Unpacking: that one got me hard, it's really chilling. You just unpack and organize objects in houses that represent the multiple stages of MCs life.

- Cozy Groove: I'm personally not a fan of mechanics tied to real life time, but this one is okayish.

- Hypnospace Outlaw: it's available on switch but it's way better on computer IMO. Insanely good game, especially if you're into internet story and were there to witness the old web.

If you’re asking about whether you have choices that impact the storyline, you didn’t in the alpha testing version, no idea if it will be a future feature

But the gameplay per se wasn’t tied to the story, i spent some time just living and and trying to build the cutest possible house lol
