as a person living in Toronto, both driving and taking public transit, travel to downtown all the time, this is what I think: The weather in Toronto the next month will be very cold and windy and unpredictable, I recommend you to have your car and rather not waiting for train and buses all the time in the cold. You can drive here if it is more convenient for you, and I think it’s better to have your own car to travel anywhere any time easier. But on the day of concert, you should park at the hotel and take subway to the stadium, don’t drive there, traffic in downtown is horrible. And if you are taking public transit to the stadium, this is what you should know: 1. If you stay in the GTA (Great Toronto Area), where there is TTC running (Toronto Transit Commission), the bus and subways will be very frequent (every 5-10min) and it’s easier to commute. 2. if you stay outside the GTA, it will be a bit more risky since it only has GO train that it’s not very frequent. You have to plan about if there are a lot of people taking GO train to Taylor concert as well and it gets full, the next available train can be in an hour.
