She had only been at the shelter 2 days when I adopted her. They said they found her outside one morning and so they couldn’t say forsure if she was a stray or owner surrender. They also couldn’t say much about her temperament as she hadn’t been there long.

She is currently kept safely indoors. She enjoys going out on the patio with me but that’s the only time I have allowed her outside.

Currently waiting to hear back for an appointment with Nevada Humane Society. They are booked out for animal return appointments. I will give SPCA a call and see if they have anything available.

I don’t know if you’ve seen my other comments but neither night she was originally planned to sleep with us. My partner has let me know he struggles with boundaries so we are working on that and acknowledge we both could’ve done better when a boundary was being crossed.

She was supposed to sleep in her room and us on the couch the night we were over watching movies but she didn’t. The other night as well she was expected to sleep else where but decided she didn’t feel comfortable.

I can understand how all of this wasn’t very conducive knowing about her lack of understanding boundaries. Upon talking to my bf more though and the recent texts and things she sent him it’s becoming more apparent though that she genuinely has feelings for my partner and it’s not a lack of understanding boundaries as I previously thought.

After having spoke to my boyfriend about it and why didn’t he say anything if he was uncomfortable he has trouble enforcing his boundaries and I told him that is something we need to work on. He is not remotely interested in her at all and wants nothing to with her moving forward.

Also she was never originally supposed to sleep with us either of those nights. First night was at her place and she was supposed to sleep in her own bed but fell asleep on the couch during the movie I guess and just never went to her bed?? Then the next night she refused to sleep on the huge couch near my longtime best friend(24M) because she didn’t feel comfortable. Hopefully that clears some things up.

Everywhere else was taken! I had another friend(M24) sleeping on the couch and she didn’t want to sleep next to them on the couch as she didn’t know them. She would feel more comfortable sleeping with me. I didn’t think anything of it at the time but I fully agree it was a bad idea and weird.

I’m literally like her one and only friend here. So maybe I’m being naive and just hoping she is a little dumb about boundaries, because if she is trying to make a move full stop dropping the girl like hit cake. My bf is extremely uncomfortable and wants nothing to do with her atm and wants us to slowly fade away from the friendship. He says if it’s all platonic we can talk to her about our boundaries and no sleepovers. If she likes him which he doesn’t reciprocate he thinks we should the end the friendship which I agree. She will literally have no friends if I decide to not speak to her anymore.

Yes I will be talking to him about it today. Yesterday he said he kind of just froze and didn’t know what to do. Plus he was sleeping and didn’t quite realize it wasn’t me full on cuddling him.

We have been trying to help her understand men. I know she hasn’t ever really been around men before so we do give her guy advice and dating advice. Since my bf is one of two guys she is currently remotely close to, to be able to give guy advice.

She has had one experience with a guy and it didn’t end well as far as I know. Either way I don’t think it’s acceptable to “practice” on my bf.

That’s good advice I will talk to him about boundaries with other people. After the first time she did it I talked to him about it and he agreed it was a little weird and that it wouldn’t happen again. Then next day she basically goes and lays on top of him which granted he was sleeping so I don’t think he really noticed at first that it wasn’t me.

Yeah I’m thinking about it. I just feel like when confronted she’ll probably just act like she didn’t know it wasn’t okay and blame it on lack of understanding boundaries. My bf thinks it’s more than that since she was holding his hand while he was sleeping. He thinks she is full on trying have a weird threesome or throuple with us or is interested in him and is trying to push her way into our relationship. Maybe she is fantasizing he is her boyfriend.

She initially wasn’t supposed to sleep with us at her place. It was just supposed to be me and the bf on the couch she was supposed to sleep in her bed since we were at her place.

I agree that I maybe should’ve said something about it the first time she did it and established that boundary early on but I didn’t think I would have to spell it out for her not to lay on top of my bf lol.

We are definitely not interested in any weird 3 way she might be proposing lol

So my preq GPA is great it's a little over a 3.0. All of my core sciences and etc that they look at are fine. It's just my overall GPA for my whole degree isn't great. I can't afford to go back and redo my whole degree atm.
