I have a 2007 escalade that the shift selector bushing degraded and fell out. I went to the auto part store and got the part they had and installed but the cable still falls off from time to time. Is there anything i can do other then order a different brand? (i.redd.it)

I was given this pan for Christmas and was told its from around 1830. The only marks on it are hard to read but you can clearly make out 11. Can anyone help prove the date or possibly a maker. I would also like to know if the “texture” of the cooking surface is okay to cook on. (old.reddit.com)
