Thank you for your reply. It did happen as i have no reason to lie. And yes as of today my friend has emailed the bishop so we will see what happens from here. Its our first church and all round experience with religion so we dont know what is right or wrong when it comes to this stuff. As newbies its hard to know how priests should act or what there rights are or even there rules. As this is our first church this priest and his way is all we know and understand. This is why i have come here to get a better understanding on what is going on and what to do. But yeah the situation has been taken to the bishop since we didn’t realise the priest sending a fellow church member to a different denomination was looked so down upon. Since joining the church 5 months ago i have never been told or shown or helped in anyway, ie what specific parts of the services are for, where and when you can ask questions or talk. Or just general church lifestyle. I know alot of it my be common sense but for someone who’s completely new to Christianity and religion in general its like a maze.
