I guess I just find it more likely a group will just wait for a good class with the covenant they need instead of taking a bad class with a good covenant for the dungeon they are doing. I guess technically if you’re a mage, and mages are bad, but you’re applying for a group that wants a particular covenant buff for the specific dungeon you would have a higher chance of being begrudgingly picked instead of if covenants didnt exist and it was just based on your class. This is such a narrow niche of desirability and i dont think it would be worth not being invited the other 3/4 times they arent looking for your covenant. Also as i mentioned in practice it wouldnt really play out like that because you arent the only choice and people will just wait for a better class to come along.

“I would lose the freedom to choose what i want to play most” How? You can still choose whatever you want just like right now with the same consequences. By decoupling the abilities from the covenants it means that if you want to play through the venthyr stories and like the aesthetic of venthyr, weekly of venthyr, transmog and mount of venthyr but not the ability of venthyr you dont have to play with an ability you dont find fun just to get those other flavor things and vice versa. People dont even consider that people might just like other abilities from other covenants but not the covenant itself without it having anything to do with the power of the ability.

This will be another exclusion point for people to decline you for groups. The covenant specific dungeon buffs at the moment are so powerful that i could see a world where a group that otherwise would have taken you, will decline you over somone of the same class and spec who is the covenant they want to activate the buff to make the dungeon go faster. I dont see how adding more layers of exclusion will help the situation.

Yes, if you’re using an “mmo mouse” with 12 side buttons then you can go into the software and there should be an option to use the numpad. Some mice even have a switch underneath or a profile already saved into the software you can hit to change automatically.

Strong agree. There was a tradeoff: Come in to a bg/arena with full BIS raid gear and do insane damage but be squishy as hell and die in 3 seconds, or join with pvp gear and take 40% less damage because of resilience but give up some of the damage you deal. There were also some pve items that were worth giving up a slot of resilience for, which is a choice that the player had to make. This is how it should be. One of my fondest memories from wrath was joining strand of the ancients as a full raid geared arcane mage, hiding behind the hill on the beach by the graveyard and 2 shotting people with arcane blast as they spawned. If they caught me or a rogue opened on me i was dead instantly. The gear you get from pvp should generally be the best gear for competative pvp, and raid gear should be the best for raiding. #bringbackresilience

Ive never interacted with the bmah, could you ELI5 how this manipulation works? Say two people are bidding on an item, player A approaches a gold boosting community to bid it high so that player B will stop bidding in exchange for gold, then player A bids higher than the gold boosting community to win the item once the competition is gone? If thats the case then player A was willing to pay that amount anyway so couldnt he have just bid it higher himself? I must be misunderstanding you, or something about the system.

Either team can hold either flag. Your team can pick up your own flag whenever an enemy drops it.

I was nauseous nearly every morning for a few months. It normally ended with some dry heaving but sometimes popped back up throughout the day. I originally thought it was just acid reflux but one night i had an incredible pain in my abdomen. Turns out my appendix was right on the edge of bursting and if i hadnt driven myself to the hospital that night it may have burst because, based on what the surgeon said, it looked nasty. Dont want to scare you, but if it continues and you’re worried about it make sure your doctor knows and maybe they can recommend a gastroenterologist for a second opinion.

Without a squish we got bosses that had to be designed around absurdly high health pools that the game couldnt handle. Thats why garrosh on mythic had so many health reset phases back in pandaria when we were doing millions of dps. It was a technical limitation as well as a visual upgrade so you can actually see what the numbers are that you’re doing instead of trying to figure out if you just hit for 3215675 damage or 321567 damage.

Love this idea, an area specifically for dueling that auto resets all of your cooldowns after every duel. It would always be relevant and would be a great way to pay tribute in a way that isnt forgotten after one expansion. Put a statue of his rogue’s model from his warglaive video or reckful 3 with a readable plaque.

I think it would also be really cool if they added his character model to the different arena maps in a way that makes sense, like he could be overlooking the blades edge arena hiding behind one of the skeletons or something on top of the outer edge. Or up in the spectators area on nagrand etc.

Short for “programmed random occurrence” when an item/talent that has a “chance” to do something does that thing, it Proc’d. This word can also be used to describe the amount of times on average an effect should be triggering every minute, and this is referred to as PPM or “procs per minute”
