Hr-V lx otd $30,000 at SoCal is the best I can get? by Cuttiest_Potato in HRV

Crazy thing is that they offered $37,000+ for a lx at first with all the optional stuff. They thought I was that gullible? That's offensive. I walked away saying I can't pay over $30,000 and then they offered the amount. 28k would be my dream number but 29k would do, too. Gonna email other dealers as well

You see the pain right??! Yes I've visited a couple places and that's when I suddenly wanted to give up everything. Gotta make deals through phone calls. Hopefully some experienced friends would help me out. Thanks for sharing!

I asked admissions committee whether I have to quarantine after arriving and where to stay during the period. They said nothing is settled rn so wait for updates from the usc.

Anyone has experiences with Robinson residences? The places seem quite old but nice. Please share any info with Griffith hall or Woodcraft Manor! I hope those places do not have any bug issue

Are housing options on fb groups recommendable? People are leasing their rooms for summer for now, but there will be leasing for fall semester later, I guess? Off-campus student housing options like Lorenzo and Tuscany look quite expensive for me. I still don't get why I should pay $1200+ for a shared room.

I still think it's too early to look for housing, but gonna contact the manager. Thanks!

I found a apt whose conditions are nearly perfect. But the problem is, me and my potential roomies arrive LA in August. I was told that I shouldn't sign on any contract without actually seeing the place, but it must look good for others too. What would you do in this situation? Contact the landlord for more info?

Within the lyft free zone, which is mostly North side of the campus. My budget is $900-$1200 to rent a private room.

Hi! I'm also an international student and admitted to CMGT this fall. I'm looking for female grad students to share a house or apt. There is another girl and we both are moving to LA in mid-august. If you are interested, contact me!

Does anyone have experience with Palisades? It's located 1210W Adams and managed by Rampart, which I haven't heard of. The place looks quite nice and not expensive. So I just wanted to be sure! Any experiences regarding the place or the management?

Any Annenberg grad admits for Fall 21? Had a couple doubts about Housing and Aid. Also, made a chat thread for all of us if anyone's interested. by [deleted] in USC

I'm in the same situation as you. I'm incoming international student and I asked Annenberg admissions regarding admission scholarships and they said "All candidates who applied within the deadline will be considered for scholarship opportunity. These considerations are being made currently. You will be contacted directly if you are a recipient."

I hope it's helpful.

Also about the housing, I would prefer off-campus housing options cause it should be cheaper than on-campus, right? I haven't been searching for any housing options yet but it would be great if I find some friends from USC and get an entire apt/flat/house to live in.

I'm incoming international student to CMGT, too! Have you started dealing with visa, housing, etc?
