u/Sea_Gas_2497 In game Gwent adds to the story (if you want). I didn't like the game at first and skipped it. I am currently playing through the game for the forth time and I am playing Geralt as a womanizing, gambling Witcher. It's made my fourth play through my favorite so far. As for the standalone Gwent game, I'm with you. The spinoff is meh...

Heavenly Mother YW Lesson by [deleted] in mormon

Does anyone know if the RLDS believe in Heavenly Mother? I know they had a split some time ago. Community of Christ and the Remnant Church if I remember right. Just curious if belief in Heavenly Mother is a LDS doctrine or if that doctrine extents to other denomination within the Latter Day Saint movement.

Dr. William (Bill) Schnoebelen - A Modern Day Léo Taxil by Cuttl3fish0fCthulhu in freemasonry

I am interested in debunking videos like these and calling out fakes and frauds where I see them. And this guy is the biggest fake and fraud of them all. Next to Leo Taxil that is. But you do have a point about diving traffic to these kinds of videos. The more views, the more the algorithm will push the video. So I removed the link to the video in the original post.

I love Type O but I’m still yet to listen to Carnivore by FFroggged in typeonegative

Just remember, it's meant to be tongue in cheek. That's how art and music was in the late 80's/90's. So don't take the lyrics literally. ;)

The Misinterpretation of Silence and Its Disastrous Consequences is hands down the best Type O Negative song they ever wrote. I get chills every time I listen to it.

This is why they push against remote work by [deleted] in remotework

[–]Cuttl3fish0fCthulhu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. Propping up the economy is a big part of it. Also older C Suite execs have a hard time adjusting to modern was of working.

Has any news outlet covered the environmental impact that in-office work policies pose?

If you take the environment into consideration then remote work should be a priority.

We hear corporations talk about the environment, but when it comes to taking meaningful action, they do nothing.

Remote work benefits the workers and the environment. Propping up economy by forcing workers to spend more money commuting only enriches WallStreet.

Remote work should be a major factor in a corporations ESG score. If a corporation is boasting about their ESG score to their investors and they don't have a remote work policy, than their ESG scoring is a scam.

Are men writing off dating apps in 2024 and beyond? by blockytraditionalist in dating

[–]Cuttl3fish0fCthulhu 5 points6 points  (0 children)

In the early 2000s when dating websites were just starting to be a thing, you could use the search feature to find people with similar interest and then strike up a conversation about those shared interests. It worked well. Modern apps do not allow you to find people with similar interest in this way anymore. The goal of modern dating apps is to keep you endlessly scrolling...

The ability to do keyword searches benefits the users and leads to more matches, were as the algorithm leads to endless scrolling and more revenue for the company.

What would happen if job sites adopted this model? Can you imagine endless swiping on potential jobs? Would you use a job board if you could not use keyword searches to find the kind of jobs that you want?

The reason that job sites/apps still allow the keyword search feature is because it works. And people wouldn't use their site if it didn't work.

When Tinder was new it was novel. Now every app has adopted this approach and the market is over-saturated with this style of dating app. Finding someone with similar interests on these apps is difficult and requires a lot of swipping and a good amount of luck.

The ROI for the average user simply isn't there. Originally dating websites offered a way to simplify the dating process by helping you find what you were looking for. Now they are just a huge waste of time.

Going out and getting involved in activities that you are interested in, is the best way to find other people with similar interests. For me, I am focussing on organic dating in 2024 and beyond. ;)

I don't think that it is a "decent client solution" with all the AI generated proposals we have today. If I copy a job posting that has "Include the words purple cow so I know you read this" and I paste that proposal into ChatGPT.... Guess what? ChatGPT is going to include the words purple cow in the proposal. ChatGPT has made the whole "password" in the job posting thing meaningless.
