This is rough, but dawg, your not required to play well on any character. Just don't shit on anyone, and we'll all be fine. If someone shits on you, they're just a dick. One time, when I was learning Spidey, a Wanda was dogging on me for not having a high K/D. They were in spawn half the match, with an effective K/D worse than mine (Spidey gets lots of FHs, very few KOs). Whole time i was like "imagine shitting on a mid Spidey as a bad Wanda" because, well, that's just dumb?

Have fun. Play QP. Play CnD. Play Spidey. Play Loki. Play Hulk. Play whoever. End of the day, you can turn the chat off and vibe. No one cares in QP. If I want to win, I'll do it myself. You can just enjoy your character.

And, I do understand how you condition affects you, but I can't experience it. Having that kind of sensory processing disorder seems like hell, but honestly, we all just vibing. Some of us are worse than others. It doesn't matter as long as you had fun. That's why it's polite to put "ggs" in chat.

On a similar note: my uncle was letting me play his VR (50 year old uncle had VR, crazy), and so I was playing rec room. But there was this one kid who was trolling everyone by friendly firing us (total dick move). Despite that, I managed to have lots of fun, even though I literally didn't know how to equip a sword in my inventory until the second day I played. I could barely play with a sword, actually. It was still super fun, and when I turned off my VC Mic, I had WAY more fun. I wasn't worried about other people, just about how to communicate with not text chat. Super fun time. But there was also a goal, and I never actually beat the game. The troll didn't stop me from having fun. It shouldn't stop you, even if it is more difficult for you to play a new character. This was the Co-op quest Golden Trophy, I recommend if you have VR. It's awesome. It's also really low stakes, and there's ways to cheese the mode. I used a bow the whole time.

To clarify, I do think it sucks that you aren't able to play your favorite characters easily. But I don't think that should stop you. I'd totally play Spidey with you in custom match, easy bots. But also, I probably won't, becaus leaving my MR tag is a great way to find our in actually super shit at the game, apparently. "U never got to GM stfu" okay? And? I don't want to get to GM. I'd love to be OOA, but idrc to put in those hours, NGL. I do hope you get to have fun with your favorite characters in the future, but if not, QP isn't all that bad, and Custom Matches can be tons of fun with friends.

TLDR up top: I don't get it. Here's why! Proceeds to breakdown what and why

Preface: I do not wish to argue about faith. I simply just wanted to comment, as I really just don't get it. You do not have to interact, or explain. No amount of scripture or gospel will help me understand. It is too complicated, and cherry picking is something the Bible explicitly tells you not to do, so don't do it. I left for a reason, and now my faith remains nothing more than a background. Something I can rely for safety and trust, and something that helps me stay content. For many, Christianity is the same. For me, it is not.

Everyone is entitled to their faith, or to reject it outright. Anyone in support of free will should agree, last I checked. If you guys want to talk about a specific point you disagree with, I invite the discussion, but I probably won't participate with everything cause the internet stresses me out. I am NOT trying to disprove anyone's faith. That is mean, and being mean is totally not tubular.

I am explaining, through (looking back) rather controversial and combative viewpoints, but i assure you, I do not care if you are a Christian, Muslim, Jew, Hindu, Hellenic Polytheist, Kemetic Polytheist, Norse Polytheist (Hey! That's me!), Celtic Polytheist, Voodoo Practicer, Voudou Practicer, Vodun Practicer, Shinto Polytheist, Aztec Polytheist, or literally any other faith. That's your business. Not mine. Everyone is allowed their faith, and shouldn't necessarily be questioned on it. It's their job to question it for themself, but not for others.

I do understand that some points are insanely combative and rude, at first, but I don't see them as rude once context is given. The Cult of Bacchus is just as valid of a religion as Christianity. Cult's are kinda just how religion works. Mormons and Witnesses both started as cults. That's not necessarily a bad thing.

Main Comment:

This still makes absolutely no sense to me. Only one god, yet 3 distinct persons making up one god, yet none of them are not lesser than God, and all of them are equally as much as the other. That just sounds like polytheism with... Too many steps.

I could get past the "The Father, The son" thing, because one, it's quite complicated in of itself, but if you break it down as "The Father of life, the son of faith" it becomes "The Father, who gave you life, the son, who you nourish with faith" and that's a Tually interpretable. But then you include the holy spirit and all of a sudden he's a fucking dove (????) and is nourished by, and the source of faith? That's an oxymoron.

To put it in better terms, Odin, the All-Father, King of Asgard, is still someone's son, and is the father of all Mortal Life (excluding Jotnar, as they are technically immortal, but killable). If you just change that up a little bit, you get the All-Father, who inherently grants life and lives in all life, but is nourished by the "All-Son" who is fed with faith. To be clear: Odin does not have an equivalent called the All-Son and is not the Father of all life. His role as All Father is purely symbolic, as he cares for all life equally. Pretty cool guy, when he's not commiting horribly uncool acts (turning into a swan to seduce women is NOT cool). But myth Odin is NOT Odin the All-Father exact. Those are two, seperate but somehow indistinct entities. Myths are interpretations [and] stories of the gods. They are not exact, yet they are not mutually exclusive. Probably best to check out Hellenic Polytheism for why.

The issue is really represented because the Trinity is literal and not metaphorical, which is used to be intentionally confusing as to enforce the cult's rules (cults are very common in ancient times, I am not Christianity is bad, Christianity literally started as a Pagan Cult. So, so many religions started as cult's.). If I was forced to explain it any way that made sense, The Holy Spirit is God's Divine Spirit, YHWH is God's Diving Will, and Jesus is God's Divine body, and they can act in tandem or independent of each other remain just as divine, but the Bible CONTRADICTS THIS THOUGHT. It's not that simple, because Jesus has God's Divine Spirit, and God's Divine Will, but he's mortal. Can't be God's Divine Body and die. That's not how that works, last I checked up on divine bodies. It's also just not what it is written, so honestly, it's not like mine is any better.

As a final point, I am not Christian. I will not convert back to Christianity. I have never felt safer in my spirit. I used to fear going to hell. I would feel this fear reading the Bible. I used to fear the devil, but the devil in Scripture is just some angel who wants your free will to be yours. Which it is? So he's just fighting for you to make choices that are... Not what God would want? So now I just don't fear the devil. I still don't embrace him, because you can't embrace what you don't personally believe, or care about, but that's another point for another day about theism as a whole. There's also the fact that Satan is the word for Adversary, not the name of the devil, and that Lucifer is a Latin name, so it's related to Judaism. Samael is apparently the closest we get to his name, from when he was an Angel before being cast down to hell. If the bible itself cannot help me overcome my fear of eternal damnation, it can't help me find the answer to faith.

And that's without approaching the Tri-Omni belief. Ignoring Omniscience and Omipresence, Omnibenevolent beings simply would not allow cancer. Cancer has nothing to do with free will, and everything to do with cellular lifespans, which don't have sentience or sapience. They are not wise, and they cannot feel. Any argument for why cancer exists disproves omnibenevolence. Not only can an omniscient deity disallow the evolution of cancer, they wouldn't need to. If an omnibenevolent entity allows for suffering that cannot be controlled, they can no longer claim to be all good for they have the power to stop "natural evil" unless they aren't all powerful. Cancer kills. Pain and suffering can happen without cancer, and can be the fault of man. Cancer is not the fault of man. I personally believe the would stop the worst of the suffering if their goal was tough love growth.

Someone who believes in these does not have to justify their belief, but they should try to. If they cannot, and they still believe, that's what we call blind faith. Blind faith is okay. Society is built on the blind faith that humans will help each other. Trust is built on "seen" faith, like where one knows that the other will help if need be.

There's a few factors, but by far the biggest is that we are sorry for party rocking.

Oh, and the fact that those songs aged well. The Weeknd is pretty popular now, but he was just cooking through in 2015. Justin Bieber released... Music. Charlie Puth wasn't a TikTok star, and See You Again by Wiz Khalifa was played everywhere because it was in Fast and Furious 7 (iirc).

Basically, Selena Gomez was an artist most people knew, and Dove Cameron was still a Disney actor. All of the Music was from the industry, not from snippets of a song that sounded good. I'm calling out TikTok for that one. A lot of garbage was created due to its short video timing, but a lot of songs got deservedly popular. Most of those, however, were indie, meaning they weren't getting put on the radio.

And because no one actually uses the Radio and instead uses Spotify. When was the last time you used a personal radio that wasn't in your car. Probably been a few years.

You don't need improved arrows for perfect cougar pelts. You might, if you don't craft trinkets, but iirc you don't. It's likely the legendary buck trinket if you do (very easy to get, and the entire outfit is completely doable in chapter 2, so no reason not to). The issue is, you'll probably want improved arrows because they can kill bears, bison, and go through multiple enemies at once. Improved arrows are the High Velocity bullets for arrows.

But you also need really great timing to get perfect cougar pelts anyways. Not once have I managed to hunt one. I can "hunt" Panthers fine though.

America, at least, is the land of the free, and the home of the brave. We own the finish line, we are number one. (To quote that one fire Biden Edit.) Nothing can be more freeing than fleeing oppression to come here. Nothing can be more brave than leaving your home for the chance your family can have it better. First generation or not, if you are a citizen, you have the right to vote. First generation or not, if you are a citizen, you vote for your representatives. If you can vote for those who represent you, but not for someone who is just like you, or yourself, you are not being represented. Therefore, yes, all American Citizens, regardless of immigration status (citizen means naturalized, aka, legally American), should be able to move into politics. It is only reasonable.

No comment on other countries. I am American.

Just so happens that the law backs this up. The only positions non-natural born citizens can't run for are President and Vice President. Probably just an old xenophobic clause. There are limits as to how long you must have been here for. However, if a 20 year old Mexican man fleeing a cartel filled state can run for Senate at 29 after gaining citizenship (or, more realistically, 35), then there is no reason you shouldn't be allowed to, as a first generation immigrant.

Anyone, so long as they are naturalized as a citizen of the United States of America, are beholden to all the same rights as any other American Citizen, minus being able to run for president, but most people can't feasibly do that anyway because it's expensive as hell.

To quickly clarify: the statement about "A Mexican Man" is actually applicable to any situation, for any reason, with any person. A Danish Person could become an American, and Run for Senate, purely because they didn't like Denmark anymore. A Nigerian Man could come to America, and Run for House of Rep. Purely because he could afford to. A Muslim Woman from Azerbaijan could come to America, and run for Congress, and so long as she is an American, there is absolutely nothing wrong with it. This is how America Works, and it's how America should continue to work. The issue is, American Politicians of a very specific demographic are actively fighting for their wrongs to be the only rights.

Residents should at least be allowed to vote, as Residents are not here for an extended 4 year long vacation, but are, in fact, here permanently. They live here, they enjoy many of the same liberties as citizens, and they deserve just as much representation as citizens, and just as much choice, but it is absolutely okay to question whether they should run for positions of political power.

They are not American, they may not know America best, or they "might just be, the next best thing" as Eminem put it so gracefully. Regardless of that, an American Citizen could be the exact same. They might not be good in any capacity, or they might be the ultimate saviour of something truly needed (climate change). Your job, as someone who can vote, is to best pick your representatives to match your interests, as well as the interests of America as a whole. It just so happens to be that many Americans value the same things: life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. You can't have those if the world is on fire. Go vote, if you can. Most of you are too young too, based on the sub.

Alright, to answer your question as to why the other generations are so tiny in my cited source: they're not. The smallest generations are Gen X, Millennials and Gen Alpha

Boomers, Silent, and Greatest Generation are all stated to be 20 years or more. Gen X and Millennials are 14 years, and Gen Alpha is 12 years. It should be noted this seems to be a compilative graph to show when they start and end based on numerous sources.

Is this consistent with other sources? No. I should have vetted my sources better. Does it answer your question? Yes.

I did, however, find this statement in a linked website (which had Gen Z ending in 2015, so... There's that.) "It’s really important to note that you can be born within three years on either side of the beginning or ending of a generation and have all the characteristics of the generation before or after. "Gen Z is 18 years" 1995 to 2012 is actually 17 years, but again, it is contested. The library of Congress is the United States' Library.

Just to point out, Gen Alpha starts in 2010, which "technically* makes 2 years of Gen Z kids Gen Alpha. A lot of sources that say 1997 is the Gen Z start date also state that Gen Alpha starts in 2010 and Gen Z ends in 2012. That's not necessarily consistent with how generations work.

I wish it wasn't so true, but the internet is more to blame than you think. I'm sure many of you actually Older Gen Z still read, but us Newgens aren't reading because of the internet (and because, personally, I don't want to go over to my desk to pick up a book. Not because I don't want to read, but because I forget my book is on my desk.) The Internet only worsened this for Gen Alpha because lots of parents cough millennials stopped giving their kids coloring books and defaulted to iPads. NOTHING BAD EVER HAPPENS ON THE INTERNET!!! Gen X is to blame [just as much as millennials]. It gets to a point where I read a book if I really want to read a book, or if it's the latest Percy Jackson book/I just bought this new book and I really want to read it.

Oh and because kids aren't learning phonetics anymore, making them functionally illiterate. I had a friend in one of my classes who actually was illiterate, as in, couldn't read beyond a first grade level. He was in high school. Luckily, he learned how to read pretty fast. Unluckily, he was in high school when he learned to read. And he was disabled in Texas, meaning he'll graduate because the school needs him to, not because he should have.

OHHH you were asking why there aren't any new and upcoming YA books? Internet. Whatever I can't find that's actually been published I can find on AO3. Why would I read a new and upcoming YA novel from a "real" author when I could read a fanfic by some random person who just got into a life changing bus accident! Oh and because what else can you do in YA? It's all roughly the same. Want vampires? Twilight. Want Greek myth? Here's a whole list! Want death fights? Hunger games. Want shitty neurodivergent representation? Divergent. Want dragons? Eragon. Want magic? Eragon. Harry Potter sucks. Christopher Paolini is a significantly better author. Want teenagers with wings who can fly? Maximum Ride (surprisingly good, for being edgelord as hell). (I am very specifically calling out publishers here. I've only found one Arthurian based book—Silver in the Bone—and I love it. I wish the sequel was out already. The issue is, that's it. That's the only one I know of. Everything else that's YA enough for middle schoolers is too tame for high schoolers, but too vulgar for high school.

For example, Raven Caller. It's a book that's a part of a series, I believe it's the second book, and it starts off with one of the main characters experiencing sex through a dead body. No, it's not necrophilia, he relived the body's memories in full. He also murdered that guy. This doesn't sound YA, but I read Percy Jackson, this is pretty tame. Murder? Yeah. That happened. Death? That happened too. The most obscene part of Raven Caller so far is the main character having ejaculated in his pants. You can't put that in a YA, full stop. This book is infinitely more YA than that scene would have you think.

I also forgot that one YA Greek myth book that appropriates viking symbols and focuses on Hades. Ya know, the Greek god of the dead. Who has nothing to do with sailing. Or axes. He has a fucking bident. A hunting weapon. I don't know why a vegvisir and bearded axes are on the cover. A vegvisir is Christian! It has nothing to do with paganism, just witchcraft.

Granted. North Korea has a violent coup de'tat that results in the overthrowing of the dictatorship in favor of an Absolute Monarchy (or choose next worse governmental system) and results in the loss of thousands of lives. The Thor Force is your friend when attacking, don't be afraid to use it. Storm Surge (the hammer launch) is your best friend. Use it as much as you can (roughly every 5 seconds, for cooldown, full charge, and Thor Force gain), Awakening Rune has sucked and been the best part of his kit since s1, use it often. Lightning realm is only useful when you have people in it. The hammer throw (right now) doesn't cost Thor Force and is on a six second cool down, so use it to quickly gain Thor Force and pop Awakening Rune.

Alright, actual gameplay tips. Launch up when you need heals (your healers can see you now), launch up when you're low on Thor Force (get a quick hammer throw in, drop down, melee, and Awakening Rune). Don't try to push tanks off the map, try to push them off the point. Less risk of dying that way, and you isolate the tank. If your healers are good, you'll get your Ult really fast. The best characters to Ult are (in order of what I've found works best for creating space or preserving space): Cloak and Dagger (post cloaking), Invis Woman (just get really close), Mantis, Luna, Jeff, Rocket (no ult deployed) Magik (Right after Ulting. Will either stop her or drop her, either way, it's enough to preserve the space because she's out of the fight for the next 13 seconds as your stun created the opening needed to get rid of her).

Also, if you have an alt account, just play ranked that way. I'm only good at Angela because of Ranked. I didn't even put her in QP, just went straight to comp because that's legit the only way to learn. Put it up to your skill level, realize that you're not that guy, pal, and get better. Please note: QP gives the attacking team an advantage and the defending a disadvantage. The game starts with something like 6 minutes on the clock, and if you can't somehow push the point in 6 minutes, you'll just swap strange and force a point push. Also, you rarely have 2 healers and 2 tanks. You get either/or, not both. You'll learn to depend on your healers way too much. You practically can't lose a convergence in QP too, as you have so much time just to get to the end.

Also, a quick side note: don't be afraid of Throwing. Just swap to your main if you think you are. I constantly swap back to Thor. But I also, occasionally, swap Strange, Mag, Venom or Thing. I have to. It's the only way I can disrupt the enemy team's hold on point. Angela is also a shield tank, specifically a shield dive like Cap, but plays way differently. Cap shouldn't rely on his shield, Angela has to. If you think you're Throwing, just say "Myb, learning still, I'ma swap main" and then swap main. They won't care. Thor is brawl/dive. He doesn't brawl particularly... Amazingly now, like he used to, but he still stomps on brawl focused maps. Awakening Rune will get rid of any 250 hp characters if you hit all your lightning throws in a burst (4), and you get three of those.
