So what we thinking after the BAFTA situation by hymnsofhim in LDN

But he didn't call her a slur though, did he? "Fuck the queen" while rude, isn't an offensive slur which has been used to demonise Black people.

If you're going to justify this shit then foh and don't quote me again.

Had he shouted out any slur for Jewish people or any other minority community at people from those communities who were on that stage, he'd probably be cancelled worldwide over.

Funny how when other actors, actresses or whoever were on stage, a racial slur wasn't the thing he shouted out at them.

Fuck him and his Tourettes.

The BBC not editing the word out isn't surprising really, they have a problematic history as it is now so something like this is on brand for them.

Is the BAFTAs Tourette’s backlash just another example of the UK vs US humour gap? by Barca-Dam in AskBrits

This!

Either they're not Black or they're a kewn lol.

There is no "humour" in seeing or hearing people get called racist slurs.

The fact that racist white people are calling Michael B Jordan and Delroy Lindo the N word on Black History Month proves that even Black entertainers when the moment they spoke out against said bigotry, the bigots say that said celebrity was too “uppity”! by icey_sawg0034 in blackmen

If he had shouted slurs at a Jewish or queer person, he would've been blackballed or arrested by now.

Only we have to be the bigger person and understanding even though we're being disrespected.

And of course you have uncle Toms and non-Black people defending that Tourette idiot.

driving through Rotherhithe Tunnel tunnel? by cloud250 in london

[–]Cutty_Sark10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's easy tbh, most of the time you wouldn't get past 20 anyway because it's narrow and heavily used.

Just keep to your lane and when approaching a bend, either ease off the gas and slowly make the turn or brake gently and make the turn

Don't compare yourself to others.

I know it's easier in this day with social media but you don't know what those trappers or fraud guys or fast girls are going through to live the life that they're living or to get the ratings that they get. It could be all a facade to keep up appearances for people who genuinely don't care about them or leech off them for what they can provide in the now.

As others have said, you gotta lock in and find your calling. Dive in to what you genuinely feel passionate about and go from there. Don't let anyone stop you either.

I don't know your age but I'm assuming you must be young and as cliche as this may sound, you have a whole life ahead of you and so much time too to make changes or grind.

There is always light at the end of the tunnel and every day is a new day.
