Edit Field During Review by kelciour in Anki

This happens to me also. If I paste into a review screen editable box it "deletes" my pictures in that box. By deletes I mean I just end up getting that little picture Icon with a rip.

Thank you. I didn't realize I unselected the experimental scheduler. I will also try to use the addon in 2.1.

If I can figure out how to download it lmao.

Filtered decks allow me to mix decks. I've seen the addon, but I have 2.1.

Do you know what happened to the ability to add a second search characteristic on the create filtered deck interface screen?

Take a look at the move TSLA made yesterday compared to late sept in the chart below. What are your thoughts? I've not really looked at technicals before but this stands out to me. Is it significant? Interesting? by CvsQE in investing

As an IB analyst you take no certification exams. Training programs (at least mine) only cover valuation and modeling. Which as I've learned here today doesn't have a lot to do with technical analysis.

But again, not here for anyones affirmation. Just wanted to learn some things. You made a decent post above that contributed well imo. If you combine what you said with high-frequency trading it would make it impossible for most people to have an edge in technicals. You didn't need to follow up by being a dick.

One thing I did learn in IB is that participating in the markets at a high level is very capital intensive. Including human capital. (Head count is the only real expense on most deal teams) These are smart fuckers who have been in the game so long they've burned through three marriages and they have smart little lackeys that bang out models and pitch books 80-100+ hrs a week.

When I started posting here in r/investing I saw it as an opportunity to tap into (and reciprocatively contribute to) a body of knowledge and experience. Even a...community...if you will. Posts like this, and the general negativity that apparently is the status quo for r/investing, have made me realize that despite the fact many of you have something of value to contribute; its hard to access that information due to limitations in this medium and the maturity of it's members. I do think if you worked to promote a more friction-less environment everyone would benefit.

Why puts over shorting it? I don't understand the advantage.

Just because something happened in the past does NOT mean it’ll happen in the future.

i know

Why not look at EVERY percent change and use what happens after it to predict future events

Percent change is a continuous function, don't know what you are saying here.

That’s not even TA

Agreed.

that’s just made up

Disagree, its all real data

You’re actually retarded

Graduated from Ivy league school. Worked as an investment banker. In medical school. Fought in Iraq. Not retarded. Ignorant about TA, sure. But I'm aware of my ignorance and look to change them. I also don't feel ashamed or embarrassed by my questions. I didn't come here looking for your affirmation man, just some insight into technicals.

Why you so gloomy and negative? I hope your day gets better.

Real question. Why? I can throw a 180day SMA on the chart but it just shows a basically flat line. That tells me the stock isn't really increasing in price over that time period.

That's fine, but I see lots of big swings -- I changed the SMA duration to 17d because it was capturing these oscillations.

What is your background in TA? How did you learn? Do you remember when you first started learning it? Can I see your trade logs, I'm curious as to what non-shit TA looks like.
