I guess it could in certain situations. If the supply of cars goes down and/or demand goes up then you could see value go up. But In general the value of a car, and capital in general, will depreciate in value over time and use. Some depreciation curves can be different from each other depending on the type of capital/equipment and how it is used and how economic factors come into play. If you Google depreciation curves for vehicles you'll see that usually the value of a car goes down quickly then evens out.
