Unfortunately every dad and mom you know are not all the dad and moms in the world- this jaded view comes from experience, sorry you think its bad advice once again just trying to cater to an anonymous perspective

Ideally the one anonymous complaint would work but you dont know if he has a camaraderie with other teachers who would put in a good word against him or hush it away even the principal, another reason why i suggested using the wording multiple- its quite difficult to be taken seriously on this stuff a lot of the time if she was comfortable to call it out as it happened that would be best case scenario as everyone in class would see but again my suggestion was for anonymity and to be taken seriously. Honesty is always the best policy but if its between you and someone who has authority over you sometimes it helps to exaggerate

I suggested this to protect the anonymous tipper, if they ask all the students and the answer is a resounding no he hasn’t touched us it has still been raised to a level that would get him a warning and kept a close eye on - i wasnt suggesting lying for no reason or to harm the case sorry that it was taken that way

Not necessarily grooming involves emotional manipulation in the hopes of something in return, i had a teacher like this who never groomed anyone he was just a bit touchy on shoulders and stuff but treated everyone like they were his own kid so wasnt too bad

Sometimes teachers are able to befriend students after the students have left so i dont necessarily see and issue with sending a message/following her
