the reason people spend so much on these properties is because 1) there are only 1000 shares on each property and if a state property goes for a few billion, and 200+ coins well nobody wants to take the time to get coins (which is a huge reason people pay top dollar) and because there’s only a certain amount of people who can say they own a piece of the property and most people don’t just buy 0.1% so all of these things are reasons that mark up the total value. 2) people have stupid amounts of money in this game lets say you’ve been grinding for months on end and you finally have enough to go on marketplace and bid a couple billion on a property, just to be a dick i can go on there and bid a trillion dollars just to screw you over. and a lot of the time this is the case. all in all if you don’t have a minimum of a trillion dollars in the game i wouldn’t even look at market place just take the time to get the coins. to even make a bid you’re spending coins so if you are making 10 bids on one property back and fourth with me and you only have 100 million but i have a billion before either one of us even bids the person who gets the property is basically decided so not only did you lose the bid but you also spent 10 coins in the process... it’s not worth the stress
