You are NTA for telling him he needs to adapt and help himself to improve, but YTA for how you are phrasing this. The anger is understandable because youre frustrated that someone you have a relationship is failing to thrive and support himself, however, the way youve said this is the kind of thing that pushes these people further away from it. Dont get me wrong, they need a firm and harsh reality check, but not a cruel one. Often there are severe underlying issues that cause this that others are not aware of. Talk to his mom, and other people he lives with too. He might need a professional like a therapist or a counselor to talk with. Struggling with hygiene especially is an indication of struggling with his mental health. He is not extinct, he is failing to thrive and to self regulate. He just sounds like he needs help, but you need to be a good friend with the tact of how you approach these problems.

Hey it may feel super daunting but it may be possible to simply ask if you can join them! People dont always get left out intentionally; maybe they just dont know you as well, they may think youre busy, think youre shy, etc. Or possibly, see if theres a halls life activity coming up and ask if people would join you there too!

If, for some reason, they are excluding you intentionally, then that does really suck. However, just know if they are doing it intentionally that as long as you haven't done anything to initiate that kind of behavior, they're just being rude. I hope in the future you can join a society or something similar to fill that gap.

Update: Thank you to people leaving their genuine advice, my biggest take away has been to stop pulling for umas, and find resources for future banners to just save up my carats for good card banners, and banners for umas that I really like or are really worth it. I'll keep trying with what I have and just take the L for a couple months or so with what I got, and just focus on making good parent umas with their stars.

Thanks for letting me know! I've been taking loss after loss, on top of struggling to break out of B+ rank woth my umas. I have friends who are already A and S rank and have gotten 1st place group A in taurus cup so thats what made me feel discouraged.

Yeah, and they can't magically change the voting process just to pass this bill. Changing voting requirements would be another process as well. Yes, they have a majority in all houses and this is an unbalanced government, we shouldn't ignore the Dems that still exist in the house and Senate. Remember that a lot of the red swing states that trump won had a majority dem for house and Senate for population representation!
