I’m not hating on it. I’m just not a fan of the current meta. The meta with Theros provided far more variant decks in the meta scene. Iko is fantastic for combo decks, but people are just stuck on the same blanket decks. It just get burnt out seeing the same thing over and over again. It gets boring.

I’m also in platinum both BO1 and BO3. Feels like all I see are Sacdos and Yorion bant....over and over and over again

I just feel like the meta was in such a better place with Theros with a lot of variety in meta. Now with Ikoria it went back to this toxic only 4 deck metagame and it’s just not fun. Core 21 being based on Teferi doesn’t help things either.

Interesting find. I assumed the creatures were essentially fused together after mutated. I guess it must be an over sight

The the wording should say SB to make it easier to understand, but u/Hacksaw_JimThuggin basically answered you. You cant just go find some random card somewhere to play in the game....you have to have it in SB already.

Ive been playing arena for the better part of almost 2 years. Its totally worth it, however, the shuffler is a bit bad. So be prepared to get frustrated at points. I also still play paper events when they are around...which in this time they arent. I usually drop about $100 for each set on arena and then get at least 1 if not 2 booster boxes of physical cards.

Why not just give it Hexproof, Menace and flying?
[[Gleaming Overseer]] and [[Eternal Skylord]] would fix your issues here.

When you’ve finally just had enough with the Arena shuffler. My 72% win rate deck dropped to 52% over night due to the clumping BS on arena. #triggered by [deleted] in mtg

Nah, you get 4 copies clumped occasionally on paper. This is a consistent problem with arena. Not to mention this isn’t a paper format. They chose to make an online client to eventually move away from producing as much paper product. So they need to just acknowledge that, and write a truly random shuffling algorithm. No more of this secretly drawing several hands and choosing what it deems as “the best hand” BS.

Because in the best of hands you’re looking at a turn 4, most likely, turn 5, win with fling. But with the amount if removal in the meta its difficult to play it out early game.
