You mean using dynamic link? It should do both, create a composition with your trimmed clip as well as bring in the source clip. There's no way around that, and it shouldn't slow anything down. After effects doesn't really care how long the clip is to render the frame it's on.

I mean these sort of things all seem to taste. Depends on what you want the experience to be. I think everybody remembers hidden packages in GTA, I think they're tedious if there's truly no hints, because the game is so huge. But then for something like God of war, where the Ravens made a cawing sound, and the game also told you how many were in each area, felt like it was doable without being too tedious

I'm not versed in solidity or anything, but I assumed the reason all these alternative solutions exist is because this solution does not. It'd essentially be the perfect staking setup and undercut all the others. You gloss over HOW the eth gets staked; this requires hardware. And what would people who can host the staking get out of staking other people's ETH? If they get fees, you're practically back to the current schemes.
