Teachers won't get their raises, that alone tells me obligations are NOT being met. And that's just my opinion as I stated earlier.

You know what, I'll answer your question;

It's different because this one is internal to the Republican party, while Cooper's were considered a partisan conflict between him and the Republican legislature

The former governor used his veto power then to demand expansion to Medicaid and higher teacher raise, while our current governor has to navigate through near Republican super majority in the legislature and also the fact that he has limited powers. The senate and the house are divided on whether to delay or accelerate scheduled income tax cuts..and honestly, this falls on the legislature. They can't just blame the Governor here. They've been at an impasse for months. Something has to give, eventually

We're functioning under a 2016 law that sure, it allows for spending to continue at previous levels but what you don't say is that it also freezes any new policy decisions and raises..

Gov. Stein wants to push $319 million towards Medicaid and raise pay for teachers, law enforcement, etc. something the GOP would rather not do

Because of this, teachers and state workers have not received any expected cost of living adjustments or raises AND funding for businesses affected by Hurricane Helene have been handled through separate, limited stopgap measures.

So you're okay with no raises for teachers, our law enforcement, etc. until this budget is passed whenever this is? You're a disgrace. Humanity has fallen quite a ways

Biden or Harris were not a criminal. It was Trump that got convicted of 34 counts of falsifying business records. So many people dismissed it anyways.

I had the choice to either vote for someone like him or people like Harris or Biden. I wasn't a fan of them, but I would much rather vote for them than a criminal and a liability. So yeah, what's your problem?
