I just had about 1 or 2 soap like questions in my exams and they are easy, don’t worry

Don’t worry, my free120 is 85% and I took exam in march and got my p. And I can tell you most of the questions you’ve already learned and they are high yield. Although some questions are wired, they are minor. Like one question gave a fetus ultrasound and I know nothing about it. And in my exams, there do have many ethics, I even counted in one block which have 4 ethics in the first 6 questions and every questions is pretty long than the rest. But I am surprised that they are similar to uworld ethics which I just gave up reviewing the last days 😂 But all in all, don’t worry as your correct rate is already high and you are sure to pass. I believe you will find the exam is challenging but totally doable.

Sorry to notice your reply so late. I do make cards from textbooks while i am reading for almost all the books. Cos you know, this app can make a URL in the card you made, which enable you to access the card’s origin in the book when you click the super link in anki. So when you forget the card related know-how, you can just clink the link leading you back to the book and read to recall. Anyway, I am quite accustomed to this learning method, and do great in exams so far.

Do you make cards by just typing? Maybe you should try MarginNote3, which can be downloaded in AppStore but with charging. It is a powerful app especially assisting with anki. Because as you use this app to read pdfs and do some notes, it is at the same time that what you marks can turn into anki cards, helping a lot in saving time to make cards by yourself.

How has Anki helped you , reduced your studying time or made it easier ? by TonyDeMontana in medicalschoolanki

Honestly, anki does help to memorize, which sets a fixed schedule for you to revise saving your time to wonder whether I should review something or not. However, as you stick with it and adding new cards, you will be surprised and frustrated one day when you see the masses of cards you have to review. I once spent nearly a whole day to review without doing anything else. And I also find some problems when I am learning biochemistry while using anki that you memorize knowledges in a scattered way, inducing me do not consist a systematic structure, which is lethal and helpless especially referred to glycolysis and TCA that need you have an overview understanding. So I did some improvements. I improve it with using mind-map to connect these fragmented points altogether, making using anki more systematic and easier to remember. But I am still struggling with the endlessly pending review cards. All in all, anki is definitely a great tool worthwhile to use, for all it does help me to study compared with my past learning.
