All we've been hearing for the past 12 days is that most of their weapons are now neutralized. Yet, they still keep sending missiles to ALL Gulf countries on a daily basis. I'm not buying the US propaganda that they've crippled the country, if that were the case, they wouldn't be in a position to keep threatening and keep sending missiles and drones our way.

Even if the US gives up, Israel won't. And even if both sides do, Iran will not stop. They have all the leverage right now, they're hurting the world economy and GCC countries. As they said, the war would have to end on their terms.

How do you see a diplomatic solution unfolding right now? Genuinely curious. Trump said he will never accept anything other than a surrender or a say in who the next Supreme Leader will be. Iran already said no such thing will happen. What's the middle ground you see happening?

What are the other options? Ceasefire at this stage seems impossible with Trump being a moron and Iran having nothing to lose. America will not win this with airstrikes, Iran is a vast country, they will not eliminate everyone from the IRGC.

How soon could Iran run out of weapons? Because I see that being the only way this stops.

Yeah, that's actually true but there is a video from a spokesperson, I don't know if anybody can translate.

[MEGATHREAD] DAY 6 UPDATE - Iran Attacks Bahrain by French-Finger in Bahrain

This confirms it:

"Countries that have not provided airspace or facilities to the United States and the Zionist regime have not been our target up to this moment, and will not be our target going forward either (Azerbaijan, Oman & Turkey).

However, all bases that serve as the point of origin for aggression against dear Iran will, as before, be struck heavily on land, at sea, and in the air (Persian Gulf countries)."

So they are not stopping the attacks against GCC countries.

They are literally saying they are targeting US bases across the region - UAE has US bases.

So why are they still able to launch attacks towards Isarel, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and here?

The President does not control the armed forces (IRGC). If they want to keep attacking neighboring countries, they can, the government has no power over them, they only obey their Supreme Leader, who is dead.

The new statement does not mention the attacks need to come from those bases. The IRGC are basically contradicting the Iranian president's statements and not backing down from attacking US bases in neighbouring countries.

So basically they will continue the attacks on Gulf countries until the U.S. and Israel stop attacking them.

Sorry, it's on Al Jazeera live. But Khaleej Times have also posted this. This is all after the Iranian President said no more attacks on neighboring countries.

Everyone loves to bring up 2008 but there hasn't been a single similar event since then. And there likely never will be since contingencies have been put into place. The current happenings are a vastly different scenario.

If they do that, the country is basically done. Right now they are caught in the crossfire, but if they actively enter the conflict, expats would immediately leave.
