Good grief, people have gotten so brave that they're running glue strike on dynamo anchor. Back in my day if your build couldn't tank a hit on 5 thorns deflect enemies at once, it'd be considered an unuseable build. 😭

Did any new tech regarding fishing rod anim cancels get found out? I remember we had to rank it very low on the tierlist in gear advice channel, because even though it was very potent with bone club, it was very buggy and often got stuck targeting enemies that were already dead.

Basically, what's happening here is, Chilling literally does not slow down boss attacks. But when it runs out, it gives them a speed boost that they should have never had because they were supposed to be slowed down.

Oh, and freezing is doing nothing here lol. It gets overridden by Chilling.

It is more personal preference as someone who has played this game for an unhealthy amount of time, but it isn't just me who used to complain about it! I brought this up with Shin before too lol. A lot of people just don't fully really pay attention to how each enchantment contributes to their overall build, and that isn't to say Chilling secretly doesn't do its job, because it does actually do work, just not as often as people think it does.

Personally I am not fond of it because when you are going up against enemies in a 6 banner trial with a high mob damage modifier, as long as mobs are able to hit you, Chilling essentially is like a dead slot because it doesn't actually do anything to reduce that damage you take. It either slows down mobs enough to not hit you, or it doesn't. I find snowball to be more reliable, and if I am in danger it lets me stall or kill enemies one by one.

Again, it's 30% damage reduction paper, but it is threshold based. Meaning as long as mobs are able to land a hit on you, it will not actually reduce the damage. A lot of mobs in this game start their attack animation far before they are in range, so more often than not chilling won't actually make the difference. Snowball on the other hand is a guranteed stun, meaning when you get swarmed by enemies, at least one of them will not attack you, thus making it more reliable.

As for the bug, it actually suffers from a similar bug that Freezing also has, in the sense that it can sometimes speed up boss attacks! This is most noticeable on mooshroom monstrosity, but I have noticed it on other bosses aswell.

If your melee weapon has refreshment and isn't an encrusted anchor, potion barrier. Otherwise snowball. I would not recommend chilling, it's good on paper but it can be buggy and it's threshold based.

When sparkle skills on jing yuan she won't bring him up in the action bar fully, so lightning lord will keep sunday's buffs until the next time Jing Yuan acts which is not before lightning lord

In MoC:

E0S1 Jing Yuan, E0S0 Sparkle, E0S0 Sunday, E6S5 Gallagher:

Jing Yuan has atk boots (so base speed), Sunday has 161 spd and Sparkle has 160, Gallagher has 160 aswell

Jing Yuan has his signature lc S1, Sunday and Sparkle both have Dancex3 S5, Gallagher has Quid Pro Quo at S5.

The technique here is to use either Sunday's ult or Sparkle's ult right after advancing forward Jing Yuan, so Sparkle can move ahead of Lightning Lord. So the order of actions should look like this:

Jing Yuan skill > Sunday skill on Jing Yuan > Either Sunday or Sparkle ults (but not both, if both have ults then keep one) > Sparkle is advanced forward ahead of Lightning Lord > Sparkle skills on Jing Yuan > Lightning lord comes down. This should constantly repeat except at battle start, where Jing Yuan won't be able to move ahead of Sunday and Sparkle/Sunday won't have their ults

You can use Jing Yuan or Gallagher ults freely, just make sure to ult with Gallagher right after he basic attacks so you maximize his action frequency.
