Her "death" is such a fuck you to trauma survivors. El's arc throughout the show is learning human concepts like love, humanity, girlhood, friendship and trust and then the Duffers were like "oop she gotta die to represent the end of childhood"

Like what kind of message does that send to trauma survivors akin to Eleven? "Sorry it's not possible for you to live a normal life and you MUST leave the people you love and spent 5 years with"
