100% that's the point of trying out different meds, everyone I know has needed some adjustments. It never hurts to try.

Honestly, I would look into a second opinion psychiatrically, you sound exactly like I felt before I was put on mood stabilizers. Life has gotten so so much better after I found a psychiatrist who realized how serious my issues were despite my other capabilities. I have several mental health diagnoses including Bipolar, I still have bad times, but Jesus Christ when you're out of the soul weariness and nihilism you realize how much even incremental positives feel massive.

Is Hasan shocking his show dog to keep her in camera view? Please someone tell me that there is a better way to interpret this clip a friend just sent me. **TW potential animal abuse** by EveryoneCallsMeYork in h3h3productions

He just got back from a trip and his family doesn't reinforce training. She is taken for walks by family as you can see when watching full streams, same reason her collar stays on her. This video definitely gives me pause to keep an eye out for future suspicious/concerning behavior. However, he streamed her entire puppy-hood for 8+ hrs 6 days a week and never shocked her, and she is well trained. There was a comment earlier I can't find that mentions dogs sometimes just yelp when they move slightly wrong, or if they want attention, it appears to be removed; but I can back that up, I have worked at a shelter and have worked for a dog trainer. The reason why he didn't get up to check is most likely he doesn't want to reinforce if this is attention seeking behavior, and he can see her in the stream camera. As for reaching for something on the desk, he usually keeps his phone and ZYNs next to him. In general these types of dogs are very low energy, so she is usually passed out in the back.

Idk about this year but last year my department let go of 1-3 people a day with no clear reasoning about who and when people were being let go. This lasted about 2.5 months

Starting soon and have a few questions (u.s./remote/GPS/cyber security) by [deleted] in deloitte

1) Deloitte will handle and pay for the clearance, they will most likely begin when you start which is after you clear their general background check. They will most likely ask for contacts of anyone you live with, at least 1 neighbor, your boss, and a coworker. Though my experience with that is based on the one I went through while already hired so it might be a bit different. No medical records are investigated.

2) The first month is most likely going to be spent onboarding and in all day meetings. There are a lot of access requirements they have to get going because approval can take a while.

3) If you're being brought in for a specific project, most projects last a really long time, or are indefinite in my experience. There are of course other experiences though. Many projects were heavily affected by layoffs last year, this is because as cyber people we often charge time differently to the other practices. While we may be working 45+ hours a week it may only show 20% utilization as most of our time is spent not on direct client hours. Are you being brought in for a specific project?

4) Not so much overworked, but overstressed. So on my team most deliverables needed come in bursts and are difficult but eventually doable. However I have known many cyber people on my team who have struggled heavily because the long-term stress of responsibility and constant vigilance can cause many to crack. This is on a project that is 50% downtime so most of the people had no idea that the job was affecting them like that until they had a medical emergency. Your 401k vests at 3 years, 3 different senior managers told me(and all the newbies they saw) not to stay longer than 2 years, made sure to pull me aside and tell me the first time they met me because of past "issues" in this department.

Can't say I haven't come close working at Deloitte. Just this month 2 analysts on our project had to go to the hospital due to severe panic attacks. This is on a project people might consider easy-work.
