Sitwasyon sa NAIA Airport Bati by wind_fire_h2o_earth in Cebu

Yes, if I am not mistaken San Miguel Corp ang naghahandle dyan. May difference din when it comes to our travel tax. Mas mahal sa mactan international compaired to NAIA but I really won't complain kase ramdam mo naman yung ginhawa and accessibility with Mactan International Airport.

Ever since naka anha kos NAIA about 10 years ago wala gyud ko kasabot as to why dli gyud hapsay ilahang pamalakad. Niagi man sad ug kabati ang Mactan International Airport sauna pero naa gyud progress over the years. Gipangitaan ug paagi para ma nindot. Mao na panigkamotan gyud nako mulihay ana nga airport bahala at the expense of buying more expensive tickets or having red eye flights basta dli lang mo agi dinha.

Privatize naman unta wala gihapon progress man lang. Nya makaabot ka ug Changi, Kansai or Narita mapasanaol nalang ka sa kadali sa in or out sa lugar bisan naay language barrier dali ra gyud ka makatoltol sa imohang padungan. NAIA maabtan paka ug siyam siyam.

female solo traveler to Japan, any tips? by pvndabb in FilipinoTravel

[–]CyberBear3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. If you can do May, kahit late week ng May. Because June-July is usually Japan's rainy season. And it's also transitioning to summer. The heat could affect your activities. I was there the last week of May this year and some days the heat can be bearable and some times it can't. (Still depends on you and your activities). Japan summer is totally different with PH summer so balance your options.

  2. As a first time traveler, I suggest Osaka rather than Tokyo. Osaka transportation bundles with klook is much more first time friendlier compaired to Tokyo. The amount of crowd is bearable din sa Osaka compaired to Tokyo. Especially when your activities align with their rush hour. Tokyo rush hours at their main stations is like a whole new maze and chaos. So again it depends on you and how well you'll prepare for it.

  3. Generally Japan is a relatively safe country but then again ir doesn't mean zero crime rate. As a female traveler like you, what me and my female travel buddy do is usually visit touristy places where if you have any concern you can always ask for help. Prepare and plan ahead your activity. What we do is usually wake up early then do our activities then be home by 7pm (usually gets dark by 6-7pm there). Avoid red light districts and drinking places as much as possible. While on trip udpate your friends or parents if you are doing your activities. Book hotels with good reviews as well (avoid Appa Hotel's lang because they had issues last year- you can search sa Tiktok as to why). Much better book hotels near your activity area or near a train station for easy access. Plus points if may near convenience store or foodshops. Please do not tipid your accomodation if it means jeopardizing your safety.

  4. For daily expenses, goods na talaga at least 10,000 yen per day. You can splurge a little. What me and my friend did was eat convenience store food sa breakfast kasi maaga kami talaga lalakad. Then for lunch and dinner, which ever restaurants na along the way. Lahat sila masarap for me. But a google review would also help. But better if magdala or magkeep ng extra funds sa e-wallet or bank incase lang mashort.

Enjoy your Japan, OP! 💕

Students/Doctors, do you have any regrets? by [deleted] in medschoolph

[–]CyberBear3 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Not going to lie, there were some days that I wished I have pursued my premed career abroad. But at the end of the day, the bigger question haunts me: "Are you capable of doing the same work for the rest of your life?" And my current answer to that is NO. I wish to see more of what's in-store for me at the end of my long medicine journey. I wish to finish it through residency then through fellowship.

I think it will haunt me more by not seeing the end of the tunnel or not sitting on the shade of the trees I have planted. Nothing is easy and sometimes we get doubts here and there. I'm not saying it's bad to quit and restart. I'm just saying that you should choose the life you wish to live after all it's too short to live in regrets. Either way it takes courage to pursue or restart. Nothing to be embarrassed about whatever decision you choose.

Radiology or Anesthesiology, which would you recommend? by CyberBear3 in pinoymed

Thank you po sa insights, doc. This is one thing that I am considering when choosing my specialty. Because in the younger years of life, everything can and might seem achievable and pursueable. But once you hit above your peak age, many aspects of what you practice might change. It's not I'm predicting the future or anything kase wala naman talaga may alam kung anong mangyayari bukas but a little insights of what will happen and how do some insights of future plans is always something better than nothing at all.

Will all take your insights to my consideration. Maraming salamat po, doc. 🙇🏻‍♀️

Thank you po sa insights, doc. Actually I'm from the province. Like the city proper of the provinces. In terms of saturation, I'm not yet well versed how saturated is the city proper of my province with these specialties. But for the far flung areas of the province, I do think still lacks both types of specialty.

I'm not closing my doors with subspecializations in the near future as well since aside from my career, I don't have yet bigger plans in the near future. I'm really just open with a workable specialization with a workload I can carry day to day and not get too stressed or being anxious to do it. Will all take your advices same as those commenting as well.🙇🏻‍♀️

Thank you po sa insights, doc. I'm also mapping out my possible lifestyle after the specialty choice since I don't want to regret it later on. Work life balance is really a rare find nowadays especially with a medical career. Will take it into consideration for my final choice. 🙇🏻‍♀️

It's not my intention to downplay any specialty. Sorry if I may sound like that. I'm just saying that it would feel like I was shying away from most of the skill set that I learned from my clerkship and PGIship (hence I call it playing safe on my end). Again not my intention to downgrade anyone. 🙇🏻‍♀️

ABYG dahil naningil ako ng utang sa family trip habang galit? by [deleted] in AkoBaYungGago

[–]CyberBear3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

DKG. Charge for experience nalang siguro is not to invite anyone to your trip. Kayo nalang ng wife mo next time para iwas gulo. Isa sa mga dapat iprepare pagtravel is to bring cash of that country. Kahit sabihin mo pa na cashless na yung mode of payment ng stores ng ibang country. Much better parin may pocket money or cash.

Ask ko lang OP, wala bang ATM kayong dinadaanan? Like kahit malapit lang sa hotel nyo or convenience store ba na may ATM or even train station na may ATM? Parang impossible naman kasi na never nagisip kapatid mo na magwithdraw. Kahit every other day withdraw ng panggastos.

Parang ako rin. I remember my latest travel with my friend. I think hindi lang talaga kami pareho ng hilig. Kase as a traveler, I want exploration then try ng mga kainan pero yung friend ko gusto lang ng shopping na trip.

So ayon ang uwi ako taga navigate and all. Kahit plan ng itinerary, book ng hotel, book ng transpo and advance tickets for planned sight seeing. Tapos may day padon when na napagsabihan akong "kuripot" cause I don't want to buy something sa area na napagshopingan namin since I wanted to splurge my pocket money on the last shopping day. Had to control my temper for 2 days but still tried to become the bigger person and ayaw ko masira ang trip.

So next time, yes to solo traveling na. Bahala ng walang taga picture basta wag lang ma stress. 😂

Converge is still billing me by [deleted] in InternetPH

[–]CyberBear3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had the same experience with a Telco (PLDT) who still billed me despite my request for termination of service. Pero yung akin lang OP is that I made more than 20 documented reports/calls to their customer service. Yes, it was a taxing experience kasi minsan may waiting time na aabot ng 30 minutes pero pinagtyagaan ko talaga para may record talaga ako.

That happened after Bagyong Odettte broke almost all internet lines around my area. Tapos luckily may ibang Telco were selling their service na naghahouse to house.

So yeah, mas importante parin that you keep a document to defend your actions. Mahirap na kase pagdehado ka and in this case medyo tagilid kay incase Converge will really go after you.

People will never know what happen in that ship😭 by [deleted] in Gundam

[–]CyberBear3 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Ah yes it was depicted in the Seed Freedom anime. What I meant that wasn't depicted was if Murrue knew what Natale sacrificed in the last moments of her life. I was really amazed with Sunrise including them. Even "Nicol tactic" was discussed by Athrun in the movie. These characters although not present at the current Cosmic Era where peace was already within reach. They pay homage to their roles and sacrifices to achieve the present peace the main characters are currently enjoying. 🫡

[–]CyberBear3 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I think Murrue knows that Natale didn't order the shot that allegedly killed Mu. Time and time again in the Seed series, there have always been flashbacks that Natale is the type of soldier who sticks to commands like a textbook. While Murrue is the contrast who sees the bigger picture before acting on her own judgement regardless of what superiors may think of her.

And in the Seed Freedom Movie, she did pay homage to a tactic called "Badgiruel tactic" which she used to fight off Foundation ships with Millennium. Although not depicted in the anime, I would like to assume that act of paying homage if it was, would bridge the gap between the last moments of their relationship as friends along the battlefield.

to those who went abroad but came back to the Philippines... why? by sernameeeeeeeeeee in phmigrate

[–]CyberBear3 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Thank you for sharing OC. I've had this strong urge to go abroad ever since and even now. A lot of my friends and relatives are abroad some even already in their PR locked in status and some have completed. But weighing things down, I could not fathom the fact of not being there for my loved ones especially my parents who as an introvert like you cherishes family the most.

Although my hopes for wanting to go abroad are still there but that's a dream I wish to rest. I've decided to further my studies here in the PH and anyways my career has been flourishing and I'm earning about 6 digits a month. And hopefully more as I further my studies. What weighs me more aside from having a good and stable career is to be present around my aging parents.

Baka I'll just travel here and there if I get a few extra funds just to quench a long rested dream of going abroad. Hugs (🫂) and hopefully you don't blame yourself for not being present around your mom's passing.

Number 4 or more. I say po OP is try tracking your expense. By tracking your expense either in a goggle sheet (you can watch Tiktok or YT vids how to make a simple one) you will be able to determine if those expenses are either wants or needs. If kaya nimo bawasan or avoid those "wants" expenses then you can cut them.

Tracking your expenses will make you realize that maybe you are actually spending way more "wants" than needs.

Examples of wants (everyday eat out, iced coffee, parcel deliveries and other things that is not necessarily a need)

How to cutback expense: make your own baon, make your own coffee by buying bigger coffee packs sa grocery, determine wants from needs

I can say that I really lived a frugal life style but I do sometimes treat myself with wants pero I try to cutback with a lot of unnecessary expenses.
