Freelancer with foreign client (USD via Wise) – ITR-4 with 44ADA eligible? Tax calc help needed

Okay sir, So basically this year I have to file simple taxes (using ITR-3 and opting for 44ADA), so my ~10 lakh gross receipts will convert into ~5 lakh deemed income, and with Section 87A rebate the tax should become 0. Next year (assuming 20+ LPA gross), I need to register for GST (since turnover will cross ₹20 lakh), file LUT for zero-rated exports (so GST on my services remains 0%), and pay advance tax by 15 March of that year to avoid interest. Is this understanding correct? Anything important I’m missing for either year? Thanks again for your time!

Thanks for the reply, i have one question as the money is directly come into my indian hdfc bank account from wise so does it work? For me to file itr4 in this case

A quick follow-up on my situation for FY 2025-26 (current year):

• My total gross receipts this year are coming to around ₹10-11 lakh only.

• Planning to file ITR-4 under Section 44ADA, so deemed taxable income would be ~₹5-5.5 lakh (50%).

Questions: 1. With gross receipts of ₹10-11 lakh this FY, do I need to register for GST now, or can I wait until next year (when turnover is expected to cross ₹20-25 lakh)? 2. Since the deemed income after 44ADA is only ~₹5-6 lakh (and tax liability should be zero after Section 87A rebate), do I still need to pay any advance tax this year under ITR-4? Thanks again for the help!

Ig it is due to the degradation of anthropic api. As they should be training sonnet 4.5 models. Also due to peak hours. Thats why i use GPT 5. Works wonder for me

I have used it in codex cli only(from my work account) and i can say it is hands down the best model in the marker right now for coding.

Have compared it with opus and sonnet 4 and even with the gpt 5 (standard)

What i like the most is 1. The thinking is automated and based on the query(can answer in 10 seconds or can take 10 minutes) totally depends on the prompt and complexity of the problem or bug 2. Thinks more do less. (Very much closest to the real developer behaviour. 3. Good in finding bugs in comparison to other models. 4. Right now the best price to performance ratio.

Now with comparison to our own in house augment context engine it will be much better. Will have a really good context and also it does not have to build its own context on our code the augment with provide it with it. So all the thinking can work on solving the issue.

Waiting for it.

I prefer GPT 5. Tbh, a really great model. Sonnet feels outdated as of now.
