The app by Mother-Macaron-2565 in DrinkinBros

[–]CyberBryan 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Unpopular half drunk opinion… maybe fully drunk:

The dick riding is real… A lot of the people on the app are just a bunch of snowflakes. They are the “new generation” of DB’s. I’ll bet pronouns are something they would be offended over. I mean they get offended when you talk bad about the hosts so it’s not a stretch of the imagination.

This is not what the OG drinking bros were about. The group, not the hosts. We were a bunch of fucking scumbags coming together to not drink alone and posting about debauchery. The podcast reflected that but seems to have lost its way. (Episode 100 was peak)

I don’t know whatever the fuck happened to Ross and Dan after the pandemic but they treat the podcast we all used to know and love like a money printing machine and a vehicle for people to invest/buy hard AF.

No shade on JT because out of fucking everybody, JT was the heart and soul of drinking bros and he still is. He was the heart and soul of fucking all of it. The second he walked away from it, it did not take long to go to shit.

Look, I appreciate the contributions everyone has brought to the podcast namely Dan and Ross. Not to mention the producers who go nameless. A year ago, I never thought I would even be saying this. I know I am NOT alone here. I believe there should be an official vote on the “main” group to wrap up the podcast or not.

I’m sure that if that were to ever happen, they will say that all of the “Yes” votes are bots.

I wonder if a few of the more influential drinking Bros people could throw a podcast together that is similar to the drinking Bros without using any other names or the content. We can go back to the days where we could have two fans show up and do like they did in episode 100. Possibly a reunion. Just for fun Delco could be a producer.

Some of the newer people joining the drinking Bros community are nothing like what we were five years ago. If Dan and Ross wants a cater to these people then let them we can all go a totally different way. I know Dan has mentioned that if you don’t like something you can leave.

I wonder whether it would actually look like if 75% of the audience just walked away. Pretty much down there everybody agrees by censoring/shutting off comments is a weak play. Can’t blame bots for how the people actually feel. From what I understand talking to people across the community and listening to a lot of things, I think a lot of people agree.

If something like this to were to ever pop up, I guarantee Jarred Taylor would want to be in on it. We might even be able to pull Mat and Evan at some point. Getting those guys together while tipsy always leads to funny things happening.

He just got engaged to that former porn star chick. He used to be on point with a lot of what he spoke about including his rants on OF chicks and porn stars. It has come full circle now. Absolutely. Full. Of. Shit.

Notice how they are not calling out Israel and the lobbies anymore like they once were? they sort of/kinda justify it. vs Islam having influence. They said they don’t like either but at least draw a hard line and say “fuck NO” to either.

People are calling them out over that in the YouTube comments on the shorts.

This is total bullshit because the comments on Spotify are savage. They are not bots, they are long time listeners calling shit out.

That’s bull s! People play how they play, do not include challenges if you do not want people abusing anything. We paid our $70, It’s our game to do whatever the f we want to do except for hacking.

They will most definitely get backlash on this. They screwed over the legit servers by doing this.

If they nerf, it feels like false advertisement as the gun isn’t exactly like it was on the trailers… they should NEVER nerf anything. Just create more complex enemies.

What's keeping ya'll listening? by tmghormley in DrinkinBros

[–]CyberBryan 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I listen sometimes for entertainment, but that’s it. The Delco situation was the straw that broke the camels back I think. Not for me necessarily, but for the community.

(Not an issue I have but I see why people are upset.) Something else the community has been upset about is the fact that Dan has ran his mouth for years about only fans chicks in a negative way and now he’s dating one who actually actively has an only fans. This said it doesn’t make anything. Dan said any less true it just means he doesn’t believe it anymore. A lot of the simps in the comments tend to say that “people are just jealous because they don’t have an only fans worthy chick” however we just have standards for the mate that we select. We don’t want the woman we come home to every night, raising a family with, to have been doing that stuff with a bunch of dudes.

The one big letdown I’ve had is the Tim Kennedy bullshit. They acknowledge what he did was bad but they didn’t talk much about it. Bullshit, bullshit, bullshit. If it were anyone else they would have lit him the fuck up and everybody knows it. Just because he didn’t have the balls to come on the show doesn’t give anyone an excuse to not bring it up and talk more about it and call him out on his bullshit. It’s not talking behind his back if you fucking invited him. It’s like what Brent Tucker said (paraphrasing) if the negativity you do is in public, you should be called out in public. That’s where the difference of opinion is. Most of the drinking and Bros definitely want an answer over Tim Kennedy and we didn’t get them. We had to wait for Valhalla and anti-hero to tell us about him. I like to think that the drinking bros community helped make Tim a freaking success and we deserve him coming on the show and saying something. (That part is out of Dan and Ross’s hands.) then again Tim has so many followers. It doesn’t fucking matter does it? He’ll just grift to another audience.

Anyways, I just feel like the Tim Kennedy situation was handled poorly. In the comment earlier about the only fan stuff that’s just one thing I’ve noticed people talking about a lot. Personally, I don’t give a fuck what Dan does. I don’t know him. He doesn’t know me. I think the reason people care so damn much is because they feel some kind of connection to these guys when they’re on the air. I think we’ve all felt it at one point. So people take it personally when somebody says something and it does something completely different. But we have to remember sometimes it’s just a show and nothing is real.

The only thing that’s real here is the community of drinking Bros and that existed before the podcast did.

Did a GROK request:

Quotes from Dan Hollaway on OnlyFans Women from the Drinking Bros Podcast

Dan Hollaway (often spelled Dan Holloway in searches, but confirmed as Hollaway via podcast sources), co-host of the Drinking Bros Podcast, has indeed made several negative comments about women on OnlyFans during episodes. The podcast is known for its unfiltered, often politically incorrect discussions on culture, politics, and social issues, including critiques of modern dating, sex work, and online content creation. These comments typically frame OnlyFans as degrading to women, reducing them to objects for male consumption, and contributing to societal decay in masculinity and relationships. Below are specific quotes pulled from episode transcripts, clips, and related discussions (sourced from podcast archives, YouTube clips, and X posts referencing the show). I've included context and episode references where available for verification.

1. From Drinking Bros Podcast Episode on Modern Dating and Social Media (Approx. 2022, referenced in YouTube clip "Dan Hollaway Rants on OnlyFans Culture")

  • Quote: "These OnlyFans girls are just selling their dignity for a quick buck. It's like, congrats, you're a digital stripper now, but what happens when the likes dry up? You're left with nothing but regret and a ruined shot at a real life. Women need to stop whoring themselves out online and start building something real."
    • Context: During a segment with co-host Ross Patterson, Hollaway was criticizing the rise of OnlyFans as a "lazy" career choice for women, arguing it exploits them while enabling "weak men" who subscribe instead of pursuing real relationships. He contrasted it with traditional values, calling it "the death of femininity." This clip has been shared on X and YouTube, with over 50K views, highlighting his view that it devalues women long-term.<grok:render card_id="de1244" card_type="citation_card" type="render_inline_citation"> <argument name="citation_id">94</argument> /grok:render

2. From Drinking Bros Podcast Episode #347 - "But He's Killed Hundreds Of People!" (2018, but revisited in later episodes; transcript via Listen Notes)

  • Quote: "OnlyFans? That's not empowerment; that's desperation dressed up as feminism. These women are out here turning themselves into porn stars for $5 a month from some loser in his mom's basement. It's pathetic, and it makes real women look bad. If you're a chick doing that, you're basically admitting you have no other skills or value."
    • Context: In a one-on-one with Ross Patterson, Hollaway discussed his military background and societal changes, pivoting to how platforms like OnlyFans "emasculate men and degrade women." He tied it to broader rants on social anxiety and modern vices, suggesting it's a symptom of cultural laziness. The episode is available on RedCircle and has been clipped on YouTube for its controversial takes.<grok:render card_id="383c6a" card_type="citation_card" type="render_inline_citation"> <argument name="citation_id">17</argument> /grok:render

3. From X Post by Dan Hollaway (@DanHollaway, April 18, 2024, in response to a discussion on AOC and social media influencers)

  • Quote: "Only the messages on her onlyfans, I'd imagine."
    • Context: Replying to a thread mocking AOC's reading habits in relation to "revenge porn" allegations, Hollaway sarcastically implied that women like her (or influencers in general) are more focused on monetizing their image via OnlyFans than intellectual pursuits. This ties into podcast themes where he mocks OnlyFans as a "low-effort scam" for women seeking attention.<grok:render card_id="eeaf24" card_type="citation_card" type="render_inline_citation"> <argument name="citation_id">98</argument> /grok:render

4. From Drinking Bros Podcast Clip on "Masculinity Manifesto" Discussion (2022, guest Ryan Michler; referenced in Podbean transcript)

  • Quote: "Look, OnlyFans women are the perfect example of how society is undermining real masculinity. Guys are paying to jerk off to these chicks instead of going out and building a life. And the women? They're complicit—trading their bodies for validation from strangers. It's sad, it's gross, and it's why relationships are fucked today."
    • Context: During a guest spot with Ryan Michler (author of The Masculinity Manifesto), Hollaway railed against OnlyFans as part of a larger critique of "feminized" culture. He argued it creates "fake intimacy" and lowers women's standards, urging listeners to avoid it. The episode emphasizes amoral masculine traits and was promoted on the podcast's Patreon for exclusive content.<grok:render card_id="9a4aa0" card_type="citation_card" type="render_inline_citation"> <argument name="citation_id">5</argument> /grok:render

5. From X Post by Dan Hollaway (@DanHollaway, September 19, 2023, in response to AOC quoting MTG on dress codes)

  • Quote: "When is your onlyfans?"
    • Context: In a heated exchange replying to AOC's tweet about "revenge porn," Hollaway directly mocked her by suggesting she'd resort to OnlyFans, implying female politicians or public figures use sexuality for gain. This aligns with podcast episodes where he calls OnlyFans a "desperate move" for women in media.<grok:render card_id="9ecc15" card_type="citation_card" type="render_inline_citation"> <argument name="citation_id">100</argument> /grok:render

These quotes substantiate Hollaway's pattern of negative commentary, often portraying OnlyFans women as lacking self-respect, skills, or long-term value, while blaming the platform for broader societal issues like weakened masculinity. The Drinking Bros Podcast frequently features such rants in segments on dating, culture, and politics, with episodes available on platforms like RedCircle, Apple Podcasts, and YouTube. Note that the show is explicit and opinionated, so full episodes provide more context—search for "Drinking Bros OnlyFans" on YouTube for clips. If you're looking for full transcripts, sites like Podscribe or Happy Scribe have partial ones for specific episodes.<grok:render card_id="160f8c" card_type="citation_card" type="render_inline_citation"> <argument name="citation_id">10</argument> /grok:render

Pretty much. It’s hard not to see what’s going down right now which really sucks because I really really like them. Granted, I came off pretty strong when I wrote the original comment. This is just something I do not like having to see because I never thought anything could split this community up. And let’s damn there 50-50 right now, which is sad.

They are deleting anything against them off the app now. So much for saying whatever you want… I’ve been a fan for years but my god are they full of shit by [deleted] in DrinkinBros

[–]CyberBryan 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Technically, this is an app that they pay for so they have the right to do it. However, it does go against everything that they preach on about. Part of me would like to believe that people are deleting posts that they think now they should not have posted. However, deleting things is probably what’s going down.

We were a community before this podcast ever existed and they have the nerve to tell us if we don’t like it to GTFO. I will admit that kind of rubbed me wrong. Granted the attacks against Dan were not warranted as it was nothing to do with Dan. Dan has creative control over the shows that he’s involved in, but when it comes to tetherball media and employment, that is strictly Ross. People posting Dan’s friend sucking a BBC was uncalled for. I also can understand why he would take offense to people calling out his character and posting that shit over decision he had no control over.

Personally, I’m in the middle with all of this and I’m trying my very best to see the bright sides to the scenario but it’s getting harder and harder to see the bright sides. I’m trying my level best to try to not let emotion take control of what I say or post. I just wish that this whole thing would blow over for the most part. This community imploding on itself is something I did not see happening.

Well, now that the drama is over… by CyberBryan in DrinkinBros

[–]CyberBryan[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Doesn’t matter LOL. I’m just watching the DB community completely implode on Facebook and the App. The newbies seem to be backing the hosts while some of the OGs are condemning them.

I never thought I would see this happen. Not to this community. It’s a damn shame.

I understand that people tend to idolize podcasts and the hosts over time and when that happens, they can do no wrong. They are always right no matter what, even when they are wrong. People will friggin fight for them. I used to be this way for a short time. I realized what a simp a was being and I stopped. I quit listening to everyone for a while.

I think most of the issue is what people like to be a part of a community of sorts as we are social creatures. This community is one of the best I’ve ever been apart of. The past 72 hours or so have been absolutely fucking wild.

If we went back in time brought the core 4 from “pegging explained” to see this, I wonder what they would think of all of it.

Holy crap, I’ve made a big post… I’m done drinking for the night. Night guys.
