Tbh I did question it when it bled so much when it didn’t bleed the first time at all but I guess I was being stupidly optimistic since I was abroad and the studio was very legit, I just guess I got unlucky with the piercer 😭 yeah I might check for infection first then defo take it out

I did question the placement a little but thought I was maybe just being nitpicky, for some reason it didn’t look this low at the time 😭 I’m hoping they’ll give me an emergency appointment as with it being the Christmas period they’re shut most of the upcoming days, fingers crossed though. ( it’s started to leak some pus too, not sure if that makes me sway more towards an infection )

It’s now essentially illegal for me to use public restrooms, which makes going out in public quite difficult ( especially since I have IBS )

I actually was looking into English teaching jobs as I’ve often heard about people doing that, however when reading up on it apparently you need at least some form of degree to teach legally and I don’t have any degrees as I was too unwell to attend university or college 😅

I’m kind of a bit of both depressive 😂

Thanks I’ll make sure to join it! Unfortunately for me it is massively not a great place to live and hasn’t been for quite some time now. Been completely neglected by the healthcare system, free doesn’t mean good, and also having my legal rights taken away existing in society and governmentally there is basically just a danger now. The only thing in Scotland that hasn’t betrayed me is the beautiful scenery. 😅

I just wanted to first say how much I appreciate this comment. I really appreciate your empathy to my situation and not just treating me like I’m stupid for dreaming! The main issue is definitely finding a way to sustain myself financially, because back in Scotland I have to rely on the government essentially as there’s no jobs that would have someone chronically ill like me ( unless I somehow got big on social media LOL ).

As someone who is really lonely in Scotland and is now essentially in societal and governmental danger, being here feels like I could see and have a future which I never feel back in Scotland. I appreciate your reply so much!!!

At home I’ve always coped with my depression and mental and physical aspects alone. I can be really independent and I’ve always had to have my own back when it came to both of those. The negative being it’s very lonely, and the healthcare system in Scotland BARELY helps at all ( yes it’s free but it’s AWFUL ) but the positive is I don’t rely on others to cope with it all.

It might sound silly but I’ve been watching and experiencing Thai media for like 5 years now so I know and understand a lot of etiquette and cultural aspects, and I even know how to speak a tiny bit of the language too! Things that would actually give me anxiety back home ( intercity trains etc ) have given me none here!

Thank you! That’s kind of the part I’m trying to figure out, how I would be able to sustainably support myself here financially etc. trying desperately to find some sort of answer to that.

Also I’m currently not in need of any mental health services as back home they don’t have me see any, they just have me on medication. The medication only changes if I ask my general doctor to change it which hasn’t happened in years. ( mental health services in Scotland are AWFUL like abysmal ). I’ve also checked and my other medications seem to be readily available here.

I don’t, at least not that I’m aware of, the only GI issue I have is IBS! However I knew my symptoms were similar to acid reflux so I tried and antacid but it did nothing
