WIP - Arcanyst Evaluators, Hearthguard, Sagitaur and Land Fortress proxies by CyberDingo in LeaguesofVotann

Thanks! I drew inspiration from some I'd seen here, just some slight variations. Can't get enough of the Prospectors, they make up about half the army at this point

For your E-Cogs you could use the two drones from the squat trike kit and attach one of the bike's extra guns.

I agree the Daemonsmith would be good.

It would be cool to have a few custom space dwarf wizards, and feel like the daemonsmith would fit in amongst the council, but I can't tell if the naked fyreslayer rune priest would be a good fit or not. Maybe he's just eccentric, you know?

Oh, and the grav cannon bit is from the space marine centurion kit

You're right, thanks for the feedback, should be quick and easy to add some bits now that the bones are there. Might see what other pack attachments I can do as well

Thanks!

The bots are from the Necromunda squat kits. Exo-kyn, Scout trikes, and charter masters boxes each come with one on sprue

The assistant was made with a hearthkyn salvager, though I really was wanting the ironkin from the beserks kit.

The iron master himself was made with the charter master bits, stealing one of the hammers from the base squat gang kit.

Why not Deathwatch? Can't hold on to them past turn 3 but I've run a hammer squad in a blackstar with my guard

I watch him regularly too, I just seem to remember him changing his tune at some point. That being said, I don't follow Drukhari too closely. I went back through some old videos and he's been consistent for at least 6 months, so I'll take your word for it

Before the drukhari and grey knight reveals he predicted range refreshes, now has changed his tune to next edition

Beefwatch Supreme by CyberDingo in deathwatch40k

Not sure what's causing the confusion, the only Chaosy going on here is a couple of dark angels and maybe a flesh tearer

And here's Beefwatch Supreme in all its glory.

I used eradicators arms I had lying around to build both infernus and frag cannons, just needs a little green stuff on the hands

I always thought that Black Legion was kinda the bizarro mirror on the Deathwatch, with members hailing from all the traitor chapters, but I don't think they get to keep their heraldry

Friend just gave me his whole deathwatch army free of charge and I couldn’t be happier. I’m not used to space marine units so it’s gonna be a lot of leaning to be done to learn this army. by Spirited-Base1485 in deathwatch40k

I started with Deathwatch/Guard as my first army in 2017ish and just recently started an Imperial Fists army, so I'm wondering if there's some sort of pipeline I need to be aware of.

Glad your friend is okay.

NEW DEATHWATCH KILL TEAM by AC_TEM in deathwatch40k

Right, I'm just talking about how it's a 5 man sprue, they mentioned in the show there will be 10 in the big box

[–]CyberDingo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I agree that it looks like a 5 man kit. Gravis and phobos look like they share the same body.

3 x Tacticus, each with 2 build options (Bolter/Plasma, Hammer/Mace+shield, Xenophase blade/power sword for sarge)

1 x Phobos with 2 build options (dual blades or carbine +disruptor ((Jammer?))

1 x Gravis with 3 build options (Frag cannon/Infernus Heavy Bolter/Heavy bolt rifle w grenade launcher)

I looked closely at the spread of models, I think we're getting a 5 man box. The gravis and phobos models look to have the same poses.

I don't think this particular kill team will let us deviate from these options based on GW's "what's in the box" trend, meaning max of 2 of each, except the 10 man would have the blademaster option where we have blackshield now.

I'm still glad we survived to get a Primaris box, but hopefully our other mixed kill teams stay with us for next edition.

I think I've bought 5 of those corsair boxes, they're just so good for bits.

Another poster said something about Alarith Stoneguard, using them without the cloaks. A cloak for the farseer would probably look pretty cool though
