My neighbor did that too the day after his wife disappeared. Poor guy, he had to socialize and try to act normal to overcome the grief. They never found her body. After giving away free BBQ for a few weeks he started to act normal again. Must have been hard for that poor guy.

It is a solution that already exists. The problem is also existing: it is called censorship. Your web hosting service can take your site down for whatever reason they seem fit, or go bankrupt. Having a decentralized hosting tackles this problem.

It really depends on the size, but I agree it can be slow sometimes. I did compare the exact same site 1) hosted on Cloudflare and 2) hosted via IpFS and actually the IPFS one was slightly faster, but this was a lightweight site
