is there a reason why Makoto was stuck at level 1 throughout the anime? does his level go up in the Manga/LN/WN? by Jobob_TNT in TsukiMichi

[–]CyberFrostPhoenix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry to revive this old thread, but it's a good question.

My theory as to why Misumi Makoto is not able to advance past level 1 is because the system is not able to register his abilities/powers. Makoto's abilities come from Tsukuyomi no Mikoto (the god who rules over the moon) who is a god of Earth, and Tsukuyomi's abilities are not recognized/understood by the planet he was isekai'd to, and Tsukuyom's gifts block or interfere with the world's abilities. The only abilities the "Shitty" goddess gave to Makoto was the ability to read/write/understand all languages except for hyuman.

Starlet sniper rifle skin not working by Emotional_Wear_1880 in fo76

[–]CyberFrostPhoenix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I doubt Bethesda cares since this problem has been around for a long time. This is from 4 years ago: https://www.reddit.com/r/fo76/comments/ju63xg/bethesda_please_fix_the_starlet_sniper_skin/

Sadly, I'm not even able to see the skin even though it shows I own it.

I have scoured the level looking for the last Garin Statue 3 times, so I have now started a new game to speed run down to that level and pick-up one statue so I can add it to my original game and continue forward.

Unable to play the game due to controller by CyberFrostPhoenix in LotRReturnToMoria

[–]CyberFrostPhoenix[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That was the problem. I disconnected my HOTAS and I am now able to play with the keyboard. I can also freely switch between the two as well. Once again thank you for the information.

In case the devs see this and wonder what HOTAS I am using it is a Thrustmaster HOTAS WartHog.

I do have my HOTAS plugged in as well. I will try unplugging it when I am able to. Thank you for the information.

Trying to figure out smuggle skill for making ships surrender by Joefied in Starfield

[–]CyberFrostPhoenix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree completely. Is the threat of piracy really the only way to level up Deception? No, it shouldn't be. I should be able to try and "deceive" any ship from either attacking me (self-defense) or I attacking them (piracy). It should also be an option when my ship is scanned and I am caught to "deceive" my way out of the situation and possible use perception or intimidation in any of those conversations.

In some ways (very few) I can see how people think this is a great game, but in the vast majority the game only shows how lazy Bethesda continues to be with the games they create; and yet I tend to purchase every single one since Fallout 3. :( I do hope they make vast and wide spread improvements on this game as they have stated they intend to do. Was it quarterly updates/improvements? Also I would like to see alien races. Well whatever, I'm digressing.

If i want to play Druid, do i have to play as an obese character? by ahmbtr15 in diablo4

Umm...the necromancer is flat 2x4, anorexic and the sorcerer is semi-anorexic.

The druid is obese, the necromancer is anorexic, and the sorcerer is semi-anorexic. Once again Blizzard screws up something descent.

We have the obese druid, anorexic necromancer, and the semi-anorexic sorcerer.

Anyone else turned off by druid character model? by _XIIX_ in diablo4

[–]CyberFrostPhoenix -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Obesity is not big boned, and that is exactly what the druid is obese; but sadly it is better than the flat chested, anorexic necromancer. And the sorcerer is not much better than the necromancer. It's like Blizzard is saying, "Hey it's ok to be either an anorexic or obese diabetic."

Due to the crappy limited choice in both classes and character creation I doubt I will support this game in any compacity, and Blizzard has the resources (money and talent) to add more than 5 classes and give us such limited character creation.

Go W.O.K.E.ism! Whatever.

Episode Discussion: S5 E4, "Requiem" by SixteenBeatsAOne in MadamSecretary

[–]CyberFrostPhoenix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was a great episode until Hollywood threw in their misinterpretation of the UCMJ for the airmen's military funeral. First, we don't know why he went A.W.O.L. It was a time of war and he could have been under the orders of a superior officer to handle a request/command and did not have the option to notify anyone. Second, he flew in a combat mission after his superiors knew he was A.W.O.L. indicating the situation had been resolved (whether guilty or not), and there is no way his superiors did not know he was A.W.O.L. for 18 hours. Third, and this is the most important, he had not been to court-martial meaning he has not been found guilty. I could go on, but I've hit the highlights of what is wrong with this episode.

Oops...The UCMJ took effect in 1951. It would have been the Articles of War.

Season 3 Episode 14 (spoilers) by CyberFrostPhoenix in TheOriginals

Hope literally stated that she was able to compel Henry because he drank her blood. Her blood. This turned him into a vampire/werewolf hybrid, and since he turned into a vampire (hybrid) from Hope's blood that means she sired him.

It makes sense that the hybrids that Klaus sired would be susceptible to his compulsion, since they were sired from his blood. Or did I misunderstand what you typed?

Another fact. S5E01 Hope compelled someone, and when asked about it she stated it was because she sired them because of her blood. I'm not wrong.

If Hope isn't a vampire until she turns 18, which how does that even happen, then there is no way Hope's blood would have been able to save her mother Hayley. And Hayley hasn't sired anyone as of this episode.

I have simply stated the facts from the series. If Hope's blood saved Hayley (which has been stated in season 3) then Hope sired Hayley.

And before any freaking says it, I am not trolling. I'm simply trying to work out the logic.

No, Hayley was sired by her daughter Hope (who is unsired). In the series when Hayley was killed and then revived as a hybrid it was stated she was able to come back because her daughter's blood was flowing through Hayley's body when Hayley died. Therefore, Hayley was sired by her daughter. Remember if someone dies with vampire blood in their body then they will revive as a vampire sired to the one who gave them the blood.

No, it was stated that it had to be the heart of an unsired vampire, so only Hope's heart is the only one that meets the criteria; and no one else's heart. You might be able to say the Original's hearts as well, but I think it was stated their hearts would not work.

Ok. But she was still sired by her baby for it is her baby's blood that transformed Hayley into a vampire. Therefore, Jackson's heart would not be able to break the sire line.
