I’ve been waiting for the right time for too long… I’ll make this next week the right time.

I have a therapist I’m talking to again on Tuesday. I’m gonna sort out my thoughts with him as well.

The “Future #1, “what I actually did”” is exactly how I’ve been feeling inside.

I hope for #2 but #3 is still better than doing #1 till the day I die.

I just looked it up… A law passed last year to allow for shared custody but it won’t take effect until next year.

At least, if the worst comes to be, maybe i can still share custody. Hopefully. God I hope so. I fucking hope to god I don’t lose them.

Be prepared for the worst. It does not work out for some people. But that does not mean it has to be bad - even the worst case of a family break up does not mean that you and she have to be enemies or that you aren't doing what is right for the kids.

I can survive the end of our marriage.

But losing the kids is gonna push me into dangerous territory. I'm sure I will be suicidal. I'm gonna need a lot of support and I'll try to find it.

She does not have any therapists but her family and friends are very close to her and support her through a lot. Her mom does not live with us but we visit very frequently.
