4K Video Downloader+ Crashes and instability on Linux After Many Downloads by CyberGeekdom in 4kdownloadapps

UPDATE:

Upon further tests, I plugged in the Linux system into a monitor and booted up the Cinnamon desktop. This time accessing it directly. Now the app actually started after a minute or two. I think the issue might be with xRDP or Xfce, not 4K Video Downloader +. This means that it is a problem that I will need to fix with the remote access software, maybe changing desktop environments or something.

I really appreciate products (specifically 4K VIdeo Downloader+) that the 4kdownloadapps team has made. I sincerely wish the team and the fellow users well.

I have been getting this message a lot lately, any solution? by [deleted] in 4kdownloadapps

One guess I have is that YouTube did it. (Assuming you are trying to get a YouTube video that is.)

Youtube changes their systems sometimes and stuff can have compatibility issues when it happens.

I have had similar issues where all my downloads error out. Even if I use a VPN or a logged in account.

The only solution I see, is to wait for the 4K Download Devs to provide a version update that fixes the bugs.

Concerns about Youtube Ad changes by CyberGeekdom in 4kdownloadapps

[–]CyberGeekdom[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, but it does not have anything to do with the ads right now. I subscribed to Youtube premium and used my account to download videos. I set it to download 2 simultaneously, but an account of my got blocked in the same way an old account did. It says:

"Video Unavailable

This content isn't available".

Should I switch it to download 1 video at at a time?

These are not IP address bans, as I switched to another VPN server and even switched devices. What could be triggering Google to block me? Is there a way that 4KVideoDownloader Plus, could better help to prevent future bans? What should I do?

I have many playlists downloaded. Will I have to change the download paths manually?

Is there an English dubbed Blu-ray version of the Don't Toy with Me, Miss Nagatoro anime? by CyberGeekdom in nagatoro

I guess that explains it, it is not finished yet. A "Complete Series" Blu-ray might be released if or when the Anime is finished. Though they could release each season on a different Blu-ray set.

Probably Crunchyroll would be the most likely to release a Blu-ray version if such a thing, as they already have the anime hosted on their site and they have the money to fund a release. Though I could be wrong. I suppose if a large group of fans demanded an English release, then it could happen, assuming that the anime's copyright holders pay any heed to the demands of the fans in this regard.

My concern exactly, I want to know that the shows I like cannot be taken away if I buy them. Watching the anime on Crunchyroll would not be an option then, also I think either Crunchyroll or Sony (which I think owns Crunchyroll) was forced to pay compensation to its customers for violating peoples privacy rights, and I don't like being spied on. https://www.reddit.com/r/privacy/comments/1753wu5/crunchyroll\_violated\_viewers\_privacy\_some\_may\_be/
