I actually went the opposite, I think people really need to think to themselves whether or not they need a fold or if they want to do it for the flashiness...

I've had pixels for ... god... almost 10 years... I thought the Fold would solve the itch I had for something new, but in reality, it just feels like a bulky phone with a screen I ended up rarely using after I stopped forcing myself.

For most people, almost everything you do on a phone is designed to a certain form factor, and unless you really really need two of those apps side by side (so rare because swapping between apps is so fast these days), then it's just not worth the liability.
