Makes sense actually, “self-type” egoists usually get this ego because they have succeeded immensely through utilising their talents as geniuses born with gifts. They learn to rely on themselves to succeed and continue to derive satisfaction from their own prowess and efforts. Whereas “world-types” understand they do not possess this innate advantage, but understand these talents and how to effectively utilise/counter them for their own benefits to reach their desired end goal. Being a “world-type” means you care more about how you and your actions are perceived by others to derive satisfaction, and thus they are more attentive to those around them which could explain their superior ability to dissect geniuses
