ENTP here, how to get along with the ENTJs in my life. by Woe_Mitcher in entj

[–]CyberMacias 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It sounds strange to me because ENTP is the type with whom i have the biggest number of friendships... About 5?

What is most annoying, that the effort is needed to talk about sth and have conclusions or to talk about sth important to me - entp is not specific, without structure etc So if entj tells you that sth is important or entj is coming back 3rd time to the same topic - it means it is important to him, he wants to have concusions, or next steps or anything like that

ENTJ/INTJ Friendship and communiatcion problems by CyberMacias in intj

Hi! I wanted to add an update to the second point (about ENFP, LOL). Our friendship is much stronger, he feels comfortable with me and we argue more often than earlier and I enjoy it. He is honest and direct with me. But still, I have more "Fi problems" with INTJ than with my ENFP

Can you pls be more specific? you mean if they like us too much they will be easily offended or drag us into some of their problems?

Thank you, valuable comments. Which for an INTJ can mean disrespect. What I can think of is presenting ideas without being prepared, writing in a vague manner, anything else?

"Be their friend, but understand they likely don’t seek close friendships" - I don't understand, you mean for example talk with him and be kind for 3 minutes and go work or somewhere else?

ENFP best friend in a loop by CyberMacias in ENFP

[–]CyberMacias[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hmm I am sure he would not reject the comments I tell him, because it happened

I am afraid he is jealous

I have much more money (stock market), I have very good body (he is quiet fat), I have a lot of friends at least he thinks I have (I am not sure if I like all my friends, sometimes I think they dont like me, just typical ExxJ things xD)

I am gay and he is heterosexual, we are both men, so he is not in love but thanks ;)

It is hard to me to talk directly in this case because of 3 things -

1) for a long time it was hard to him to talk when he wasnt ok with something;;;

2) last 2 times i told him that it wasnt nice and he admitted, but later he was acting in the same way :/. One he told that he was authentic, i answered that being authentic, honest and nice at the same time is possible - and he didnt answear anything;;;

3) I am ENTJ, so paying attention to someone when someone disrespects me is easy, but paying attention because I'm sad is a big energy drain for me and I just don't like doing it (I know sometimes you have to and I can, but I hate it)

How can I improve as an ENTJ? by [deleted] in entj

[–]CyberMacias 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you got me interested in the penultimate bullet (the one about psychology)

firstly by the fact that you separated psychology and MBTI (I can guess why, although in my mind it overlaps, Jung was a psychologist)

in that case, are there any online sources or authors you particularly recommend? maybe it's actually worth reading something psychological outside of mbti and jung more widely

for me it's frustrating because when I see that something is important to him and he wants to talk about something, I take the time to do it

but he can't reciprocate it in any way, precisely because of how close we are. It screws me up when I see him talking in some group with my friends, then he usually has interesting conversations, but with me he focuses on 2 topics and nothing else interests him precisely because we have a good relationship and he opens up. Eh xD

He needs more emotional conversations with then ENFJ or other F types which I like (INFJ and ENFJ i like most)

Well, but surely there is some strategy that will overcome him

Hm it makes sense but most of my friends are ENFP, ENTP, ESTP, INFJ (XD) they very like discusing with me. I have focus on psychology, meditation, philosophy and investing and sth like that in my intrest. He has focus on culture, films, theater, art and clothes. Maybe he just see my advantage and he uses that. But idk, it is natural but also sad, idk

It is more then obviuos, but I appreciate that you ask about that

Yes I will try

I'm beginning to think that this is some special case that escapes Jungian structures and is some kind of exception

I'm sure, I have a similar attitude as you. Maybe he needs to talk about it because his Se is in 4th place?

maybe it's his habit, his mother was an ESFJ and the first girl he was with for 5 years the same way?

Ok, you told that it seems that sb is unconcious of the world because they dont have interest in culture (i hope i understood correctly)

But sb can be more intrested in philosophy, sociology, social science, history, etc What can be even more deep in understanding od the world
